But the way in which politicians (instead of people who have a clue) are trying to "normalize" gender identity problems is mind-blowing. I haven't read as many dumb and leading statements as I've read from the american liberal press. Let alone preaching these things to immature minds such as kids.

I bet that in the next few years, the incidence of "newly diagnosed kids with GID" will sky-rocket as a result of these superficial and leading campaigns.

How this is explained to the children is up to the parents. I am not a parent so have fun with that little task.

Nobody is being forced to believe anything. There is a policy that has been put in place to deal with restrooms. Beliefs are not governed by Obama. That is the parents job. It is a great learning opportunity for parents with a belief system that does not line up with the policy to explain to the kids that this is the real world and sometimes paying taxes sucks, but you have to do it. Just because I believer that Jesus rode dinosaurs does not mean that there will be dinosaur crosswalks at my school.

I disagree. Policy and media shape public opinion. We have seen it happen over and over again. It most certainly is happening now which is why I wrote a thread on the subject two years ago. In 2 years we have gone from a lot of media placement to the president issuing directives. That is disturbing.

I bet folks will be singing a different tune when President Trump starts sending letters of instruction to public schools.

Government is not always pretty. Trump gets in, things change. What does not change is the schools will have policies are your little snot nosed monsters will have to live inside the rules or face consequences.

I went to a tough school. Any male that showed up in a dress would have been tortured to no end. I doubt if much has changed. Kids are cruel. Playground justice operates on its own terms. Give the kid a comfortable place to pee. The walk home from school is going to be a motherfucker.

I agree with the bulk of this post. Except the comfy place to pee part. Bathroom thing is a non issue and a waste of time and money.
