i am convinced the attack on Nex resulted in her death: it may not have been physically responsible, we'll wait on the autopsy, but any kid bullied long enough and hard enough may consider ending things by taking their own life, especially if compounded by them knowing/feeling they have no support from the school/people around them who should—as adults—be trying to protect them. Either way, this last attack on Nex cannot be dismissed as anything other than crucial.

No police report was filed following the assault. No ambulance was called. The student reportedly could not walk to the nurses station. They died the next day and were buried on February 15, 2024 .
