Storing your toy's?

Ok I'll try here since when I posted the same question someplace else no one answered it? Storing your toys I heard that toys made of different material can't touch each other since they mite react to each other. One of my toy's kinda melted and it was never near any heat. So I have each toy separated but all in the same box.

Now maybe I just answered my own question but sometimes I see others toys all mix together. Was mine just a one time thing or is it true?

That has happened only to my gel toys. As you said, I now store them individually (in little drawstring pouches), but together.

It depends on the material of the toys. Those made of chemical-ly stuff, like jelly and cyberskin-type material are more likely to melt when touching other toys or if you don't care for them properly (e.g. washing and dusting cyberskin with cornstarch). Silicone and latex can also react with some things.

If you don't want to do the individual cloth bag thing, you might consider putting each in its own paper bag before putting it in the box, or a box with dividers. Ideally, you want them in something that still allows for air flow (hence, the cloth or paper). Some people store toys in ziploc bags, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea for all toys and would imagine you wouldn't want to cut off the air flow by sealing them, unless it's for a short period of time, like you're taking them to your partner's house or a party.
