Don't know who's still following this thread but as to the question about nude beaches in Florida, I can recommend Haulover in Miami.

On a nice weekend day, thousands of folks are there. Old, young, gay, straight, singles and families with kids. Very much a family atmosphere with the little ones.

South Beach on Miami Beach is primarily for the younger set. Topless is very common and no longer the "Eye Opener" it was in years past.

As for the legal issues, it is no longer illegal to be nude in public in Florida. I know this sounds strange but the state supreme court struck down the old "Indecent Exposure" statute many years ago. Therefore, we can now have legal nude and topless beaches,, which is nice.

I live aboard my sailboat so being nude is no whoop for me and my lady. But we still enjoy Haulover with friends when we're in Miami. If you've never been and have the desire to give it a try, this is the place to test the waters. Lots of people and all of them are cool.

Its totally single minded. As one would expect from an evolutionary mechanic. Its people that've subverted them and turned them into objects of sexual desire.

And Jill, I know this is going to sound condescending, but you don't have to sign every post. There are those that do (oblivious obtuse buffoons) but for the most part people here realize that ones lit name is enough to distinguish one from all the other folks on this site.

In France they don't even notice so that's a bit different but you have to be used to it like they are. In Brazil and Argentina its' tame by comparison so nobody cares.
In the islands it depends on who's on the beach.
In the US it's a freakshow.

Anywhere in Europe more or less women wearing tops are in the minority.
 
Orient Beach is clothing optional and there is Club Orient which is a nude resort
in St. Maartan
