Well their internal numbers on the pre-election polling can't possibly be wrong. The only answer is that the President has considerable psychic powers. And weather control powers.

The wonders of revisionist history. Soon Stalin will be discovered to be a maligned humanitarian who really contributed much to humanity...paving the way and making it safe for Obama to advance his own Stalinist policies.:D

That would make far-RW assholes like you the first to be sent the gulag in Siber- . . . Alaska. Have fun! :)

Every president since Franklin Roosevelt has done his part in advancing the doctrine of collectivism, some moreso than others.

Census: New gauge shows high of 49.7M poor in US

Ukranians.

Lord knows why that specific statistic is relevant to anything, but there you go.

During Stalin's Soviet reign, the territory now known as Ukraine was the USSR's breadbasket.

True dat. Didn't consider it was only realted to the farming stuff.

Still, you could add considerable amounts of Khazaks and Ruskis to that tally.

And you base that on what?

My opinion.

It is the same as The Onion, Drudge and other publications of that ilk.

What passes for journalism these days is more along the lines of opinion/commentary/journalism. With very few exceptions (whom I can't name off the top of my head) most is no longer "just the facts ma'am" it is laced with opinion, conjecture and in some cases outright bullshit.

Used to be that you could get a pretty good jist of a story from a couple of sources and be pretty confident that you were getting well researched articles. Nowadays, you have to wade through tons of opino-garbage and then have to fact check the whole thing just to be assured that you get all the pertinent information.

Half the time I think I could do better with the National Enquirer. At least with that you know that most of it is no better than fish wrapper but at least you know that going in.
