Hi everybody, I am m/22, from the northeast. I just ot my tongue pierced and am very curious to hear of the pleasant experiences of people from them. Ladies, does it make any difference in oral? I love it now, I think I'm good at it, I can't wait to find a new girl to try this on!

(7/8 of an inch - usually the size they pierce with. Generally you take that one out and replace it with one that hugs the tongue but THAT bothered me so I went back to the 7/8ths)

7 Years ago nobody around here had a tongue piercing and there was only one place I knew of that did it - and it was frequented by freaks, klub kids and the like.
The preppies hadn't dreamed of body piercings yet. I got it done because I liked piercing, and it looked fucking sexy as hell on the piercing guy.

No, it doesn't make a difference in regular oral sex or kissing. Not unless you purposely use the barbell while kissing or lapping at a clit. Yes, it feels kind of good when you do.

This is just something new, and I have a 15 year old daughter who is into being different... She asked me just the other day if she could get her eyebrow pierced. I said no, not because I think the whole idea is wrong, just that I feel she is a little young. 18. When she is 18 she can do pretty much as she wants.

Is this wrong? No sarcasm intended. I really want to know.

Is it wrong for me to tell my daughter to wait until she has matured a little before she starts in with the tattoos and piercings? Because I think if I gave the go ahead she would be covered in them.

I've only had my tongue pierced for about a year. I didn't do it to be trendy or shock people, it was just something I wanted to do. I tend to work in places where the look is a little more mainstream and overt piercings would be out of the question. Besides, I wouldn't want one of them used against me as a weapon (I worked in an environment where there was a threat of physical violence). I considered getting my tongue done for over two years before I actually had it done.

I've honestly not had any problem with irritation by my tongue ring. I did wear the original barbell for some time until I found one that suited me better. The barbells are quite large but I've had no problems aside from the guys in class cluing in that I had the piercing. Not too observant bunch...only took four months

I went to a very reputable place in the city to get the piercing done. They insist on teenagers having a parent with them as well getting both to sign a waiver. If she insists, tell her to wait a while and really think about. There are some great sites out there that answer a lot of questions.

Welcome to the world of teenagers Actually your best bet if she is bent on doing this is doing some research online about it yourself and having her sit with you until you both fully understand the procedure, care etc. It might just change her mind and she'll want to wait. Either way, she'll get some education about the whole thing - and so will you.

No you aren't wrong - just keep in mind that while a tattoo is permanant, a piercing isn't. You don't have to allow more than one, either and you don't need to allow tattoos.

If you did decide to let her go ahead with getting a tongue piercing you would probably want to set limits, such as "I will allow this piercing, but anything else you want to get done will have to wait until you are an adult."

This way she does get what she wants, has the experience and if she would like more she has to wait.

If you still say no, you're not a horrible parent for doing so - she hasn't got that long until she's legal and can do it on her own. If she really wants the piercing that bad it won't kill her to wait a few years.

I also don't think that you would have to worry about her getting a tongue piercing and then becoming a pincushion. Most people I know have one piercing and nothing more. I'm the abnormal person among my friends. Not to mention you can't see any of my tattoos or piercings unless I show them or I'm naked.

I'm unusual in the fact that my tongue is the only thing that's pierced. I've never had my ears pierced, nor have I had the desire to do that. A lot of people find that really strange.
