Tombstone

Wow... I knew his face, but I didn't realize that was his name. He played Billy Clayborn?

Powers Boothe is in it (President Noah Daniels in 24, Cy Tolliver in Deadwood) — he has a very distinctive voice. Dana Delany (China Beach)... am I missing anyone?

Powers Boothe' best role was playing Jim Jones.....but he's always good

Byron will be toasted, the next time Tombstone plays on my TV.

"Why you even doin' this, Doc?"

"Because Wyatt Earp's my friend."

"Hell... I got lotsa friends..."

"I don't."

So poignant, reading this.

I had forgotten his use of Doc as his avatar. How exquisitely appropriate to have him memorialized forever as Doc.

At the risk of being played for a fool, I am officially in mourning.

We all are. Even those that don't have the privilege of knowing what is missing around here.

I can't picture another Byron wandering in to this field:

Welcome to our newest member, Another Byron.

Makes me wistful think of some of the (few) statesmen here and longevity in general.
