Told ya!

Guilty by association. He is a fucking traitor. If you think he should be free your just as fucked up as he is.

So if you know a guy who goes and kill somebody you should die too?

Nice.

Ok sd412, so there is no proof he ever shot at an American. But didn't he have knowledge of the attacks on 9/11 before they happened? If so, as an American citizen shouldn't he have made every effort to inform the proper authoritizes? I think so, that makes him a traitor in my book.

I told you there wasn't any evidence against him. There's no reason for him to be behind bars.

He joined the taliban and al Qaeda .....isn't that reason enough?

yea yea....I know he's being detained to "make an example" of him.....but I hate the taliban. Think about what the taliban did to women when they took over Afganistan. Women's rights movements have been trying to get the US to do something about that for years before this happened.

Would it have helped? John Ashcroft flat out refused to listen to the CIA agents who knew about it.

Axtually, we don't have an Al Qaeda link to him, that's why we haven't been using the word 'terrorist' with him.

Where did you hear this? I never did....I just figured he was a flunkie from America.....who they hated.

Course I haven't stayed up on the news lately, but I'd like to read any *reports* that state this.

I wasn't sure which he was....which is why I included both. Thanks for the clarification.

If he had at least made an effort it would have made a very big difference for him. By not even making the effort he became just as guilty as those who committed the crime.

MoonWolf...I'll have to do some digging. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere...

I agree with you on this one.....in my book he's one big traitor.

I'd appreciate that.....think I'll do my own search.....pm me if you find anything.

You're absolutely right ShockDoctor.

Knowing about the crime, is a crime itself. I know after the attacks in the US, we're all going a little over-board with stereotyping and associating.

But the fact remains....if he knew...and didn't say anything....he should be punished to the fullest extent. Even if Ashcroft wouldn't have listened to him, he should have told someone.

Anyone who can stand by and watch thousands die, and ruin millions of lives.....needs to be severley punished.

I agree with this remark, however we don't know that he really knew about the crime in advance. I doubt that many people did know, for that fact. Unfortunately I believe we won't know the whole truth about this entire affair for many years to come.

But I don't have a problem with the US detaining Walker......he's still a traitor to our country in my book.

He's being sensationalized because he's an American....simply that....IMHO. An American that joined a group that hate Americans......and I do believe a group that is somehow related to the 9/11 events.

This little twit is still receiving attention in the media:rolleyes: Anyone remember the name of the dead CIA agent? The first American to die,Left a wife and family. Let the little clown go, He can write a book, do Larry King and be on the cover of People magazine telling everyone how sorry he is.

Being the good guys sucks some times. It drives me nuts that we take prisoners and worry about their rights and how we're going to give them a fair trial for members of an army we are at war with. '

There is NOT A SINGLE member of the al Qaeda that would for a second DREAM of taking an American soldier captive and giving him a fair and legal trial. Including our beloved Lindh!

I wonder how many casualties the U.S. has taken because we train them to kill then send them into war and say 'play nice.'

He should be happy we choose to pay his airfair over the price of a bullet.

it was Jonny mike Spann who died in the attack on Mazer-i-Sharief. Just hours after interviewing Walker.

walker on the other hand is a fuck job.
I just find it funny that when he was sixteen he asked his dad if he could go to saudi arabia and study muslim. Not that studying your religon isn't bad( i am a catholic school graduate) But i mean his mom and dad didn't hear from him for like what? 4 years.
that would send off alarm bells. So the kid got in with the bad crowd and did some bad shit ok he needs punished. i agree, but lets not give this guy any more credit than he deserves, put him in jail let him rot use my tax money. I just am sick of all the publicity Johny BIN LADIN is gettng.

Not that Ashcroft has anything to do with the CIA.

They are not in the same department. The director of the CIA used to be a cabinet ranked official but he/she is not anymore. CIA would report to the National security advisor if it was going to report to anyone but they would most likely just send either the director of the CIA or the deputy director if they wanted to talk about anything high level one on one with the prez.

Ashcroft is the head of the Justice department which is domestic and CIA is not supposed to do anything at all with domestic problems.

I've been saying all along that he would get off, not that my sympathies are with him, but there is really nothing to try him on. I just hope he gets released real soon, before the passions cool...

So very true, look at the mercy they showed the guy who got pitched out of the helicopter.
