The municipality stretches from Eklutna to Portage, from well out into Cook Inlet to well into the Chugach National Forest, nearly to the northern fiords of Prince William Sound. Less than one-third of the municipality is accessible by road.

I seriously think Anchorage should bid on the Winter Olympics again. It would be nice to see it in... like snow and winter. If they learn how to tilt some lakes, I think they could even get some skiing done.
