NOAA says:

TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO ABOVE NORMAL VALUES IN THE COMING DAYS FOR
MUCH OF SOUTHCENTRAL ALASKA. THE WARMTH IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE SNOW
MELT AND CAUSE RIVER LEVELS TO RISE STEADILY THROUGH THE WEEKEND. ICE
IS STILL PRESENT IN MANY RIVERS AND STREAMS WHICH IS VERY UNUSUAL
HEADING INTO MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. WHILE NO SPECIFIC FLOOD WATCHES
OR WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ISSUED AT THIS TIME...AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS
WILL BE RISING SIGNIFICANTLY. BE AWARE OF CURRENT AND EXPECTED
CONDITIONS AS THE BUSY HOLIDAY WEEKEND APPROACHES. YOU CAN CHECK THE
STATUS OF BREAKUP AS WELL AS RIVER FORECASTS AT
WWW.APRFC.ARH.NOAA.GOV.

Recently spent two glorious weeks in your great state! Several days in Seward and Homer. Last two days in Anchorage, Talkeetna and Palmer... temps were in the 70's. Photographed Mt McKinley in all her glory... not a cloud in the sky. It was a wonderful trip. I'll be back!
