To the Horror of Global Warming Alarmists, Global Cooling Is Here.

Around 1250 A.D., historical records show, ice packs began showing up farther south in the North Atlantic. Glaciers also began expanding on Greenland, soon to threaten Norse settlements on the island. From 1275 to 1300 A.D., glaciers began expanding more broadly, according to radiocarbon dating of plants killed by the glacier growth. The period known today as the Little Ice Age was just starting to poke through.

If true the Four Horsemen will ride and billions will die.

Looking at the bright side, thousands of scientists will collect billions in grants writing papers telling politicians how to warm things up again if only they could rule the world.

There's one segment of the population that would certainly welcome this phenomenon...

pre, peri and full-on menopausal women.

I'm thinking portable personal showers, temperature regulated by a worn ring. (Who'd know 'Mood Rings' might eventually have a practical use?)

I realize that you're probably a christian, and the last time that christianity was relevant was in the 13th century, but I think you're a little out of touch with what "here" means...

I realize you're a moron, and moron's haven't been relevant.........ever.

Of course, attack the source.

On the other hand there have been 16 yrs of no measurable warming taking place despite the 'computer models.' This is measurable, not some Biblical prognostication. This in spite of the increase in CO2. (Which follows my thesis as proposed in another thread that CO2 is a lagging indicator, not a leading indicator. Doesn't make me right, just tracking better than the government parasites so far.)

Try as they might the ARGO project people have NOT been able to eliminate global oceanic cooling from their data set. And as the largest heat sink on the planet the oceans don't cool if the planet is warming.

Recently the Russian climatologists rendered a prognostication of 200 to 250 years of global cooling. I'm not buying into their 'crystal balling' any more than I am those of the "we're going to boil now' school. But it does explicitly show that there is NO real agreement on the subject in the scientific community. Unless you believe that Russian scientists are irrational Reaganites.

Go ahead and assail the conclusions, they're always fair game. But to assail the conclusions you have to assail the facts as well and that you have not done. You've never even given it any effort.

Let us know when the ocean pH levels return to normal.

Well buddy, I'll be certain to do that..............when you let me know exactly what 'normal' after adjusting for 3 billion(+/-) years of geologic time.

Hmm.

I did not write it and i do not vouch for it's accuracy as for the rest of it, I don't see how that applies or why it should.

Whatever it was before you started pissing in it.

i remember back in the nineteen seventies we were told the coming ice age was going to make us all die horribly...sent money and write the congressman.

Then the global warming thing came into style.

I still think the earth is slowly getting warmer because we are in or just peaking on a heat spike in a glaciation period.

(did I say that right?)
