To tell or not to tell, that is the question

I have a fan that has been writing me with every new chapter, which I really appreciate. She is a lot of fun and her feedback keeps me pumped up.

However, I recently received quite a few pictures of her (they were incredibly hot). In the e-mail, it became apparent she assumed the wrong sex for me. What should I do?

Tell her
Wait until I get more pictures and then tell here
Keep the illusion going. (She is obviously enjoying it and so am I. They might not even be her pictures for all I know.)

My grandfather had a saying that I think is appropriate for your situation.

"Just as light is not the absence of darkness, Honesty is not just the absence of dishonesty."

If you wish to be honest with her, then you must tell her. By not telling her, you would be perpetuating her misconception, in effect lying to her.

The choice is yours of course, but lying to a woman to obtain a few "hot" pictures of her is just a little sleezy imho.

And this is coming from a guy who writes porn!

Hi Couture,

Probably you know all the arguments you'll hear. But here's one not so obvious. My assumption is that you are a woman. (Have read your stuff and like it.) So she thinks you are a man. IF, i say IF, this is true, it is potentially embarassing for her. Remember the murder that happened as a result of a meeting on the Jenny Jones show. A straight guy was 'lured' there under the impression that a woman wanted to meet him. It was a man. And iirc it was the man who got killed. Iow, she may be straight and not wishing a homosexual encounter.

Should you respect that.... No one can tell you. There's lot's of 'playing' on the 'net, and I suppose it could be argued that if she 'plays' she must face the consequences.

Now the opposite may be true, but some of the same arguments hold. If you are a man, then the woman, as a lesbian, thinks otherwise and has no desire to be with a man, quite likely. Again there is potential for disturbance if you are found out.
