I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to any and all newbies that I've recently offended. Specifically Breakmysoul. My first response to your thread was meant as a bit of fun because you asked for female readers exclusively.

I gave no indication in my reply that it was frivolous and unwittingly created a bandwagon.

In GLSpades thread a similar thing occurred (although I took no part) and we have all been admonished (rightly so) by Killermuffin. I was a bully. I'm sorry.

Can I suggest (re-iterate, support) once more, the adoption of more smilies (however much we hate them) expecially when replying to newby threads.

Assume, at all times, newby skin is paper thin, sarcasm is not generally welcomed by them and perhaps (however they choose to phrase their questions) they are more likely than not being serious.

I know the hangout isn't the place for feedback requests but raking them over coals isn't exactly going to encourage them.
