I'm sorry but I have to agree. The link that Min posted should be enough to let you know if it is indeed the right story. Jen you're sweet to want to help, but I think the answer to your question is no, it's not politically correct.

I am intrigued by the storyline and it leads me to wonder if it were indeed published somewhere. I'd love to find it, and I'm sure that her fans here would purchase it in a heartbeat if it were found.

Great idea, I've been trying to find information through Google, but I'm not having any luck. Let us know if you find anything? I'll do the same.

Also, thank you for bringing the story to my attention. I just wish I'd read it before it was pulled. Sigh.

Okay, lemme see if I got this straight:

- The story that BG69 is indeed "With This Spell" by Madame Butterfly.

- Madame Butterfly has removed that story from Literotica, but is currently posting some stories on qualitystories.com.

- Unfortunately, "With This Spell" is not one of the stories already posted at qualitystories.com.

- The only copy of "With This Spell" known (by us) to be available at the moment is the one that Fiery Jen has saved on her computer; but it would be unethical for her to disemminate it without M. Butterfly's permission.

- BG69 has recently been in e-mail contact with M. Butterfly.

(If I haven't missed a step above...) I wonder if M. Butterfly, if asked nicely, would consider giving her permission for Fiery Jen to send one copy of the story to BG69, with the undertanding that it is to be for BG69's own private use.
It might be worth a try, anyway.

Assuming Quince is right on all counts I'd say pass the story on anyway and assume tacit acceptance on the author's part.

Previous to that I would have to say that there seem to be no copyright infringements in one person passing a story to another. There is no duplicity involved and no money is changing hands and I would have to say that even legally, since the story was free in the first place, that net published work, passed to another (over the net) doesn't break the spirit of copyright either (in other form or medium etc)

Quick question here.. I have that story saved on my computer (I'm a fan, too). Would it be politically correct for me to send it out, or would I have to have the author's permission?

If it was my story, and I'd removed it from the site, I would have removed it for a reason. Presumably the author doesn't want it spread around any more. That's a view which ought to be respected. Of course, it could mean they've got a publishing deal...

All that Madame Butterfly told me, was that she is working on updating the site, and trying to put in the stories as soon as she can. And that she is sorry for the misunderstanding.

Well, i guess ill just see what happens..
