It sounds like one of your stories was sent back and not published. Maybe try a grammar check? Did the site give a reason?

So what do you want the site to do? Not publish other stories, so your favourite writers stick around?

Lit is a popular place to publish. The same things that attracted the writers you like also draw other writers. But with around 200 stories being published every day, if someone leaves, I'm sure you can find other writers to enjoy.

Edit: only four complaints in eleven years actually points to a pretty high level of satisfaction.
