Title Focus Group

I think I am the biggest member of the titty focus group. Ever since getting that lump in my breast, I went up two cup sizes. Not that I wish to disparage the moobs of anyone posting in here, of course ;)

Sorry for that momentary boob ;), I actually want to get the thread back on topic, LOL.

I do have a story which I know will have to re-titled. It's my recent FAWC, which had to be written around four words: lecturer, lech, laundry room and licorice. I therefore called the story when finished Of Love and Laundry. I know this will amaze you, but it had the lowest number of votes in the whole challenge, LOL. I haven't been able to see the view figures, but I suspect it was way down compared to others, especially since the story was listed next to last in Chain Stories. So I can see clearly now how crap the name is and that I need something more inviting.

Would you read a story that had this name and description?
Lust, Love and Laundry: Sex and sexism on and off the campus.

(BTW, the story which had way more votes than any of the others was the one Loving Wife story! :D)

Hmm. That sounds like the title of a symposium in Women's Studies. I might not read that.

Would you leave it in chain stories or move it somewhere else?

Only if I knew you had written it ;)
I think "Laundry" may be your problematic word here. It brings to my mind an image from the old American TV show "Hee Haw" where the old skags were doing laundry and singing country music. Country music makes me shrivel up faster than falling into an ice-cold stream in January.

BTW all my LW stories get way more votes. Lower scores, but way more votes :D

Loving wives will get you a lot of attention, but sometimes its not exactly good attention:eek:

I was surprised to see the one I posted three years ago has crept over 4.5 and has an H. But my other one is 2.86 so they average out.

I know this is off topic, but LC gotta dig Santa Cthulhu

Hmmm, I did really want to keep the word 'laundry' in it. It was part of one of my words, and had this domestic ring to it. Thanks, guys.

That really annoys me when academics go and try to spice up their papers by making them sound like porn videos. Although I did once go to hear a couple of papers about Tom of Finland which actually were more interesting than the titles :p

I usually keep my FAWC stories in Chain Stories, I hadn't really thought about it. It doesn't seem worth moving them after they are New, since readers will probably only come across them in my submissions' list now. Although I suppose that might throw them up in Random Stories List. I don't know what category I would put it in, TBH? Maybe Romance. But probably I will just leave it in Chain Stories.
