Titans: The Revised Adventures RP

Grant had been waiting for a while, watching kids and adults walk by in costume. Looked like everyone was out and ready for the night. His nerves hadn't gotten any better, and it was all he could do to keep from bursting into blue-white energy as he waited. Although it might be pretty anticlimactic, for her anyway. Meeting Prince Charming at the bus station...really a magic night.

Hey. He suddenly had a pocket full of cash. They didn't need the train after all. Inspired, and determined to come off a little better than his situation actually was, he leaped to the curb as a taxi passed by, "Hey!" "Taxi!"

The vehicle screeched to a halt, Grant running up to the back door. "Hey, man." "Thanks."

"You are welcome," said the driver, an Indian man in his late 20's, whose English was actually very clear. He should take it as a good omen. "Where may I take you?"

"Uh, well, for now just down the street." Grant grinned a bit foolishly as he got in the back, "I've got a date, and I need to pick her up." "She should be coming this way."

The driver looked at him in the rear view as the cab pulled away, "A fine night for a date, sir." "Very well." "And will she be as Grecian as yourself?"

Grant blinked for a few seconds, then looked down at the costume, "Oh, oh, yeah!" "We, uh, did choose our costumes to kind of match."

"Ah." They drove on for a few minutes, then the cab pulled off to the side. "Is that, sir, the lady?"

There was no mistaking it. Donna looked like a goddess in motion, the white wrap concealing the more...ah, attention getting part of her costume. Her hair was piled high and twined into curling ringlets. Grant sighed, watching her walk past. Wow...she was gorgeous....

"Sir?"

"Huh?" "Oh!" "Yeah." Grant opened the door, getting out, "we'll be right back." He took a few strides forward, "Donna!" He waved, a sheepish, somewhat stunned look coming to his face as she turned to face him. "Uh...hi." "Wow, you look great, I mean terrific!" Up close, the effect was even more profound, and he found it impossible to tear his eyes from her. "Sorry, but I changed plans, got us a cab." "If that's cool with you."

He turned to stand next to her, offering his arm. "Our chariot awaits." "Shall we?"

She hadn't expected the greeting and turned with a confused look to see...

"Grant? Hi!"

She returned his wave and listenedasheexplained the change in plans, it was really very sweet of him to get them a ride. Always better to have a cab then take the train, with her own personal mode of transportation she had never worked around to getting a car of her own. So the cab was mroe tehn fine for the evening.

Her arm slid into his and she moved closer, he really was looking the part, all suited up in the Greek armour and even the vibrant blue cape that laid at his back. It all suited him so well she had a hard time rembering which of them was the greek deity here.

"You look wonderful, I knew the costume would look nice but...well...it looks great on you."

She managed to sneak in one picture from her small snap shot digital camera before he opened the door to the cab. A smile and blush as he took her hand and sawto her being seated in the back. Grant shut the door before moving around to join her, putting on quite the gentlemanly show for her.

"So are you this chivalrous to all your dates? Or just when your in a toga?"

"So are you this chivalrous to all your dates? Or just when your in a toga?"

He grinned back, "Well, the toga helps." "I mean, I want you seated first, just in case a strong wind blows the skirt up, you know?" He laughed, feeling at ease now that it was actually happening. Her smile was so infectious, so wonderful. "But...you just kind of bring that out in me." "Like I want to be a better person for you."

He turned away at that, blushing again. Man, there it was again. That way she had of getting him to say the truth, be more honest than he might have liked. Grant caught the driver watching them with a bemused look on his dark face, and he blushed a bit deeper.

"Sir and madam, where shall I take you tonight?"

Grant leaned forward, "The conservatory, please."

"So be it, please relax and enjoy the ride." WIth that, the taxi took off, driving through the traffic, winding here and there.

Grant leaned back again, finding his eyes drawn to Donna once more. "I've never really done the big party thing," he said, feeling he should say something. "What do you want to do when we get there?"

Starfire frowned as the guy dodged her attack, her eyes widening as she saw his. "What are you?," She asked softly... then realized she was still in a fight! She pulled back her fist, readying to give him another good punch.

"If you do not wish to be nice, then you shall be forced to l-" She cut short as he grinned at her, a sudden new sensation rushing through her. Like what she felt when Robin had 'thanked' her in the bathroom, only.. stronger...

She cried out, dropping to her knees as she gasped and moaned. "Ahnnn- What are you doing?," she whimpered, biting her lip as she tried to block him out. "Please... please, stop it.." Her heart was already racing from fighting from him, and now it was going incredibly fast, her legs trembling as she tried to keep it together, panting a bit as she looked up at him with wide eyes.

He picked up the discarded piece of rebar, "Sorry, babe." "I can't stop." "The boss wants you guys gone, so you're gone." He smiled, swinging the metal bar back and bringing it down across her back. "Get it?"

He raised it again, hammering her back once more. A third time. A fourth. The bar was bending slightly with each impact, but it was doing more than his kick had. "Enjoy the rush, goldie." "It's going to be your last."

Again he hit her, knocking her to the ground. Laughing he raised the bar once more. Now this...this was how you whacked a bitch.

"Oh Grant, that's such a sweet thing to say."

With a blush like that it had to be the truth and once he joined her in the seat she inched across to place a light kiss on his cheek, careful to not leave a lipstick mark from the bright glossy red she was wearing. Still there was a small mark, tiny gloss shine lip print, one she softly rubbed away with her thumb.

Soon enough the driver was given directions and they were well on the way, small talk as blocks passed by. Festive decorations in the windows and thick piles of leaves along the road. Donna's fondness for Greek history, Grant's obvious interest in science, they bantered over school and general topics until the car arrived at the museum. The front of the large marble edifice was covered in giant scrolling drapes of orange and black, each adorned with bats and witches. It looked to be the social even of the season, one in which Grant and Donna were arriving just in time.

Ever as polite as helping her into the car, Grant held his hand to her for her exit as well. Her hand slid into his and she walked with the bearing of a true Goddess, something very fitting for the costume. Loud music poured from the open double doors of the building, voices created a low but consistent rumble of conversation broken by occasional laughter or shrill scream of mock terror. The inside was every bit as elegant as the out, and once in Donna slipped her wrap off and let it drape over on arm.

A long table to the north wall held all manner of decorative and grotesquely displayed foods. Bloody punch and literal finger sandwiches seemed among the favorites. All manner of masks and costumes swirled around them and it wasn't long before a photographer swooped in on Grant and Donna.

"Aww what a lovely couple, ok, scoot is closer to your girlfriend there son. That's it. Now smile!"

Donna and Grant both started to correct the man on the nature of the date and were both halted by his further order to smile. A flash later and a ticked was shoved into Donnas hand.

"You can pick this up later, should have them done in a couple hours at most...Ohhh Batman and Catwoman! Gotta get them!"

And like that the man was tearing off across the room to capture another costumed couple with his camera. Donna put the claim ticket into her purse and chewed her lip a moment.

"Well, that was ...."

She just shook her head and laughed and let it go, it wasn't like it was some sort of insult or anything. Grant was a nice guy, a great guy actually.

"You want some punch?"

“AAARGHHHH!” screamed Bane as the arrow hit his hands. After a moment of recovery, he went barreling after Arsenal, closelining him. He started slamming his fists down, one after the other, into Roy’s chest, and the floor began to crack underneath him. Grabbing him by the shoulder, Bane threw the man like a ragdoll across the room and smashing through a window, out into the alley, and into a dumpster. The trash spared Roy from serious injury, but he could see the mangled and bloody form of Vic Stone just feet away. Before he had time to think, Bane yanked him out of the dumpster, and threw him out into the street, making him skid across the asphalt with such force that it left a slight trial in the road where he had slid. Leaping into the air, Bane landed right in front of him, the asphalt cracking beneath his feet.

Firebolt was out momentarily, then turnover and smiled up to Beast Boy. “Burn!” he yelled, and his entire body was covered in flames, yet they did not hurt him. Then, he sent a wave of fire into the green kid.

Killowat fought to get Reikka out of his head, then screamed out as he smashed into the fish tank and shorted out, then felt extremely dizzy and light headed. He tried to stand, slipped on the wet floor, smacked his skull, and was out.

Robin turned momentarily from Ghost to see Arsenal, but another moment later he was being attacked by Bane and then Robin had to return his attention to fighting Ghost.

Malchior cursed as he wiped off the slime from his face, and then a moment later, he was bound with wires. After a few minutes, he started laughing. “Hahahaha! Silly Rabbit, tricks are for KIDS!” he yelled out, powering up his aura again. He pushed with all his power, and the wires shot off him. Free at last, Malchior dove at Raven, breaking through her barrier, and slammed his fist hard into the side of her head, sending her flying across the room and into the wall. Before she could get up, he was there, and kicked her up into the air, and then a second kick to her side sent her flying up, through the ceiling, and onto the third floor. Flying up to meet her, his lips curled into a sinister smile that showed his fangs. Powering to his full aura once more, he laughed and dove at her with stunning swiftness.

"What-?" Star tried to get up, only to cry out as he slammed something down against her back. Between what he was doing to her mind, and the punishment he was giving her body, she could barely move. Between groans from the pleasure and screams from the pain, she tried to get back to her feet.

"Get away from me!," she shrieked out, whipping her hands to the sides and causing an arc of her blasts. "You are not kind... and I will not enjoy your terrible mind games!"

"You want some punch?"

Grant laughed too, though he was more than a little fod of the idea that Donna could be his girlfriend. His mind was toying with the idea, his eyes distant for a few moments, "Huh?" "Oh, yeah..." "Punch sounds great."

He grinned at the "bloody" punch bowl, man, he loved stuff like this. "This is great." "I'm a scary movie fan, and this...is just cool." He let a ladle full of the beverage just fall back into the bowl, admiring how well done it was. It really looked the part. He poured a glass for her, "A blood offering for my Goddess?" Okay, he knew that the Greeks weren't into the offering of human blood, but still.

It was fruity actually, and he didn't think anyone had spiked it yet. They walked around the place, seeing the other costumes and masks that moved around the large open space. They paused to pose with Antony and Cleopatra, and have a mock fight with a guy in an enormous hyrda costume. All the while Donna and passing partiers snapping pictures.

There was a karaoke machine, that Grant steeres well clear of, and then the dance floor. As they watched Batman and Catwoman chase after The Joker and a woman in a harlequin outfit, Grant looked at the dance floor, and then at Donna. Big move. Could be bad. Don't do it. Don't say it. Don't.

"Donna, would you care to dance with me?"

Crap.

Mina had been helping Starfire get the party guests to safety, and then followed after her. She shrieked as she saw the fight with Kid Twist. Then, leaping forward in all her purple clad glory, she formed her wings and claws, then took flight and slammed him into a wall with a kick. “Leave her alone!!!” yelled Mina, and she stabbed her left claws into his shoulder. She held her right claws at his throat. “I may not be a villain, but I’m not scared to fight like one to save the day.” she said, her faced turned in a furious sneer.

"Agg!" Kid Twist stiffened as Amythest ran him through, his concentration broken, releasing Starfire from his powers. "Fucking hell..." Large drops of blood ran down Mina's claws, spattering the Tamaranean girl. "Some....fuckin' hero...thought you guys had a code?" "Think the Titans'll like you killing me, girlie?"

He grinned, "They'll put you away too." "Locked up with all of us bad guys." "I bet Robin won't keep a murderer on his team." The thought seemed to deflate Mina just a little, at which point Kid Twist kicked her in the chest as hard as he could.

She staggered back, her claws ripping out of his shoulder, "AAAAHH!" "Damn it!" He stumbled back, his hand over the wound. Bleeding badly, he wasn't going to be awake for much longer. "You like pain, bitch?" "Have some!"

His face was a mask of anger, green light pouring from his hands and eyes as he hit her with the full force of his bio-kinetic power. "Scream!"

“AAAAAAARRRRRRGHHHH!!!!!” Amethyst screamed out as she fell to the floor, violently shaking and twitching as the pain seared through her body. It felt like every nerve in her body was on fire. She could barely think, but managed to break down to her liquid form. Ah yes, no more pain. No flesh, no nerves, no pain. Jumping up in the form of a giant wave of silver, Amethyst wrapped herself around Kid Twist, covering his entire body in silver. “I won’t kill you,” her voice rang out with an underwater sound to it. “But depriving you of oxygen isn’t too bad. It won’t kill you, just knock you out.”

"Riekka, be ready, I'm letting this thing d-"
Raven gave a yelp as someone punched her, glancing back to see Malchior pouncing her. "Ohh, shit..," She growled out, trying to refocus herself, but just couldn't catch a break as he kicked her twice, whincing as she smashed through the cieling.
"I... just... built that..," She muttered, rubbing her head as she looked up, finding him standing above her with that same damn grin as before. Her eyes saw past his shoulder, seeing something on the wall-
Her powers took the extinguisher from the wall, and with a quick guesture, she yanked the pin and sprayed it at his mouth. "Closest I can find for a mint, Dragonbreath...," She growled, getting to her feet and calling up one of the steel doors from a nearby room, hurling it at him and sending him towards the window at the end of the hall.

“Bitch!” Malchior cursed as he spat out the white foam from the extinguisher. “You fucki-” WHAM! Something hard slammed into him and sent him flying down the hall, and smashing through the window. He stopped himself from falling just inches above the street below, then flew back through the window and down the hall to stare at her once more. He powered up his aura again, but Raven would be able to sense a drop in his energy after that door hit him.

“Bleed, bitch! Bleed!” he screamed, powering up a massive wave of purple-white energy, and firing it at her. The wave cracked the floor and walls around it as it sped towards Raven, Malchior right behind it. As the wave slammed into Raven, Mal jumped forward and punched her hard a few times in the face and stomach, then grabbed her by the arm and flung her down a hallway and through the door of her own room. Putting his hand out into the air, he throttled her from the doorway. She felt an invisible hand grasp her throat, holding her inches above her own bed.

(Gave you an advantage there. You should use something in her room to defeat him, some dark artifact.)

Panic hit Kid Twist as she washed over him, trapping him in her liquid body. He thrashed and clawed trying to rip free. He coudn't see, or hear anything beyond the liquid rush of her form.

Then she poured down his throat and nose. He tried to scream, to choke her out. Madly, dangerously, he whipped about, instinct now kicking in as he drowned in Amethyst's body.

Finally, blackness took him, and he passed out, falling still and silent to the floor.

"Donna, would you care to dance with me?"

Crap.

Donna sipped the punch, for as disturbing as it looked it tasted fine, quite good in fact a very sweet berry punch that went down smooth. They mingled a bit, their costumes melded with some and clashed with others, but everyone was laughing and having a grand time. Grant's hand rested softly at the small of her back as they walked through the crowd, something sweet and comforting in the gesture. He really was a great guy, and this night was turning out to be far more fun then she'd thought it could be.

When Grant asked her to dance she couldn't stop the smile that pulled her lips high and wide. She nodded in absence of a vocal response and off to the dance floor they were. The DJ was just changing over to a new song, the opening chords were familiar even if the tune itself seemed ..updated. Quickly enough the crisp sounds of the remake drifted from the speakers. Odd how such a band as the Death Cab for Cutie could produce such a pretty rendition of a 50's song like that. The soft melody was made for dancing and the two teens did just that.

Donna rested her arms around Grants neck, typical dance position of high school kids, but then he moved. He was smiling as his hand took hers, and the other rested to her waist. Now they were in a more classical dance position, one pair of hands held out to one side the other keeping them in contact. Donna was familiar with this style of dancing but far from a ball room dancer, luckily her natural grace helped to compensate some and soon they were waltzing around the floor with soft conversation and laughter.

Grant, for all his size, surprised her by being very agile and quite a dancer. His strong lead made it easy for her to follow in the turns and steps with him, it also gave her ample opportunity to look at him. He really was handsome, not just in the costume but in general and he was so kind and smart, and thoughtful.....

Before she realized it they were dancing closer, and slower. Their hands brought in until hers rested on his chest with his own cupping over it. Donna looked up, his eyes seemed so deep, she could get lost in them, she swallowed hard as they moved ever closer and still more slowly. Each swaying motion bringing them that much nearer until his breath bathed her face, still sweet with the berry punch. Closer still, something had been set in motion now that could not be stopped nor hastened.

Grant dipped his head down slightly, his lips a breath away from hers, a loud rumbled shook the floor, something that was not the base of the music nor the sounds of the party. It was a sound Donna was all too familiar with..somewhere close by was some serious damage happening. She pulled back with a pained and apologetic look.

"Grant..I'm sorry I just... There's something I need to do. I'm so sorry. I'll get a ride home don't worry."

Donna turned and then turned back, cupping his cheek in her hand and pulling him close for a brief but intense kiss.

"Thanks for a great time, I really did love it."

Then she was gone, vanished into the crowd and slipping out the back where she could safely take to the skies without someone watching her.

Once she was sure Kid Twist was out, she released him, and he fell to the floor. Returning to human form, she regarded him carefully. “You will get the help you need. You will not hurt others anymore.” Then, she turned to help Star to her feet. “Alright?”

She was so close. So close he could feel her breath on his mouth, smell the warm scent of her hair. Their lips edged closer...closer...

Then the floor shook and she pulled away. He was about to protest her leaving when she pulled his head down, and kissed him. It was short, so very short, but powerful and passionate. His mind went totally blank as his lips automatically responded.

"Donna, wait!" But she was gone. "Damn it!" What was going on? He ran to a window where many of the other partiers were staring and pointing. Out in the bay, on an island, there was some kind of fire. A huge building seemed to be under attack.

What a minute...Roy said the Titans were in town, and they had a headquarters in an old newspaper building. That had to be it! Why else would anyone attack it?

Grant frowned. He pushed his disappointment aside. If the Titans were there, and part of his deal with Roy was joining them...now would be a good time. Plus, he wasn't about to let anything bad happen if he could prevent it. Not now that he had the power to intervene. "I won't let it happen." "Time to actually be a hero."

He pushed his way out ofthe crowd, careful not to hurt anyone with his strength. Once he got into street, he started to run. Faster, and faster, easily passing the cars on the road. A huge leap took up onto the freeway, wheeling and turning as he ran, the blue cape of his costume trailing out behind him. No time to go back and change. If he was going to help, it had to be now. There was a trash abrge moving out, in the general direction of the island. It was farther than he'd ever jumped before...but it was the only way to make it.

He leaped, seeming to float through the air that howled about him as he soared over the steel of the bridge and the water of the bay. Up and arching out, then down. The barge shook as he landed, the crew grabbing hold of nearby objects to keep their feet. "Sorry, guys, but I need to get to that island." He ran to the front of the boat, gathering his legs under him for another leap. High, high into the air he went, a tiny figure against the lights of the city. Fortunately, there was a big hole in part of the tower, and Grant wasn't too far from it. Just far enough.

There was another tearing rip as he crashed through the wall, tumbling down into the chaos of the battle. He stood up fromt he debris that had crashed down with him, only now realizing he didn't know what any of the Titans looked like. Well, no time to worry about that now.

Suddenly, a huge robot crashed into the wall, nearly hitting him. "Whoa!" Following it's trail back, he caught sight of a tall, lean figure, grey flesh and dead eyes lumbering forward. It's clothes were ragged and rotten, and it had the smell of freshly turned earth to it. "Okay, that's not a Titan."

Damage ran forward, standing in front of it, fear and anticipation mixed in his stomach, and blue-white energy flared to life around his fists. "Hey, Living Dead Man!" "No shoes, no service!" Yeah, he REALLY needed to work on the heroic banter thing. Before it could react, Grant reached back and hit the thing square in the chin with his best right cross.

The undead lummox stumbled back, shaking it's head. "Uhhh." It's dead eyes fixed on him. "Soloman Grundy, Born on a Monday." Grant blinked, that punch had stunned Metallo. Well, he did have a higher energy level then, so-

His line of thought was interrputed as he ducked a massive fist. The creature roared, bringing both fists up over it's head. As it swung down, Grant braced himself, reaching up to catch the blows. The sound of the impact shook the walls, and the floor under Grant's feet cracked.

He was holding the thing's wrists, his muscles straining. Grundy looked slightly startled, as though it had expected to pancake Grant with no effort. It frowned, then began to push down harder, to crush Grant under the force of it's arms. Grant strained to keep the huge fists from smashing into him. Sweat beaded on his forehead as the undead hulk pushed harder, and harder. Slowly but surely, Grant's arms began to lower, unable to keep Grundy at bay for much longer. "...Not much for conversation...nnn...are you?"

Grant's shoulders heaved, the energy around his hands blazing bright as he halted the downward momentum again, at least for a moment. "...Nnot going to be that easy..." Although, he couldn't hold out much longer.

"This...looks bad...for...our hero..."

Damn! I picked a bad day to lose my internet connection!

OOC: Okay I missed about 2 pages. Lol. Gonna try to get back in this bitch.

Superboy picked himself up off the ground. The Kryptonite's effects were wearing off and his strength was coming back to him, albeit slowly. But he had one extra factor fueling his power; rage. Kon-El, the genetic copy of Superman, was extremly pissed off.

Gathering his legs up underneath him, Superboy blasted like a rocket out of the tower. He knew his target as the wind screamed in his ears. His ice blue eyes were narrowed into dangerous slits as his speed split the very air around him. His vision locked in on the unsuspecting back of Bane Jr before he slammed into the steroid enhanced freak with his full force into the side of a parked van.

----------------
Ghost phased out of sight as the R-disks exploded all around him. He had prepared himself for Robin this time, and considering the sun had set, his powers were at their zenith.

Calling his strange, otherworldly power around him, Ghost plunged the temperature until the steam rose from the lips of everyone there. Cold worried people, it made them less effective and thus it made them vulnerable.

Sliding under the floor, Ghost weaved his way towards Robin, his hands already crackling with his Ghost Touch.

"Hey, you could at least bathe before you attack you know."

A streak of white had arched across the sky to end in a quip and two golden sandals in the big pasty smelly guy's face. She wrinkled her nose with the overwhelming odor and vibe coming off him, there could be little doubt who he was. Grundy...someone's joke on the universe, reanimated flesh with little but the drive to fight. At least that made him easier to distract, and from the look of it whomever was tangling with him already was getting a pounding.

"How about you pick on someone my size?"

Donna pulled back with her fist, still hovering in the air, and let a haymaker punch slam forward. Sickening crack as Amazonian muscle and sinew backed a punch to connect with undead flesh and bone. He was like punching a thick wall of hard rubber. There was give sure, but it felt like it didn't accomplish much, only succeeded in driving him back a few paces and pulling his attention from his former victim up to her.

"That's right. Time to play dead!"

Donna eased herself to the ground, letting the sheer force of will that kept her aloft drift away so she was solidly planted with feet on the rubble strewn floor. Her hands rested on her hips as she left him advance, trying to keep him focused on her as she took a moment to look around. It seemed the fight was more far ranging then this one battle but for now she would see to stopping Grundy and do what more she could for the others after.

(Forgive my lateness, and all should know that if I'm MIA on Mon and Tues, you're welcome to move my character to a sensible position, etc. Please do so, if only so that I dont have so far to catch up. LOL I've spent 4 hours, off and on due mostly to the kids, reading up since my last post. Yeah. So help a gal out, will ya? ;) Okay, on to the post....)

Di had been downstairs, by the front door, greeting guests. Dressed in a purple dress, mostly sheer layers but entirely modest due to the number of layers and noneso to their material, she has manifested a horse's rear, extra legs, and a horn on her head - she's a unicorn. (Though, it's entirely possible that the mass of the horn is made from her brain. LOL Just a thought.) Handing out candy and directing people to place their coats and belongings here and there, Di leaps into action when she hears the alarm. She guides people out of the building, hoping that someone on the floors above her are pushing some either up and out or into the guarded rooms, because no one is coming down the stairs. She rushes through the sublevels, getting everyone out, and hurries back up to Level Two for the action.

She spies several things going on - Bane Jr inhaling something and placing it in his shoe. Then... kryptonite? wowsers... and taking it all out on the Superboy. This and that, Reikka gets angry and things began to set themselves on fire. Wonderful. Di stretches and melts to practically invisble and gets to her old habits of pocket-picking as she steals Bane's meds and grabs up the green rocks, storing them inside of her belly using mass to surround them so that their "powers" can't harm the Superboy any longer. Yep, that should do it. She nods happily as she sees the teen recover and get back into the action.
Back to Reikka's problem... well Raven has that under control, and Di quickly puts out the small fires surrounding the girl with her liquid-like state. She turns to see Mina jumping in on the action, and goes to rescue her from the evil guy's grip... but is gleeful to see the girl get out of it herself.

She looked around and Raven was gone again. Hm. Weirdness. Everyone seemed to be okay at that precise moment, so she went around gathering things like Robin's r-disks and Arsenal's arrows, replacing them - probably undetected - for those heros. Theivery tactics had their place, she surmised. She checked on Mina, who was helping Starfire get settled back into reality - well, Star's version of reality anyway - and looked around to see who needed help.
Hm. Damage? Strange. He seemed to be in a bit of a... tight place, of sorts. DI rushed forward and wrapped herself over and over and over again around Grundy's huge ankles. When she was confident she'd wrapped them enough, she squeezed them together to throw him off balance, causing him to fall to the floor and release the other strong man. Dusting herself off, she looked around, and heard a noise outside.

VIC?? What was HE doing here? Ah yes, Reikka. Di rolled her eyes and sprung out the window, grabbed Vic from his place on the ground and in front of the villain ready to pounce him. She held him in a hammock-like hold and spied a cop car coming up the road. Actually, there were lots of cop cars coming up the road. What the hell did they think they were going to do? She stopped one car, opened the back door and placed Vic gently inside.
"This boy needs to go to the hospital. Now. I know you're no ambulence, but you're his best chance right now. Look, there are some evil dudes in there, with horrible powers. I'd suggest you let us Titans secure the area, and when all is said and done we'll bring you the leftovers. K?" She didn't wait for an answer, slammed the door to the car and bounded back into the same window she'd left from. Glancing behind her once, she saw the police line back up some, glad her warning had been enough - or maybe the Roy copguy Dick had mentioned had also gotten in a word with them or something - and they were keeping back, a watchful eye.

Back inside the tower, Di glanced around to where else she might be of service, trying to take in all of the action around her.

Roy. (Oh am I gonna get the crap kicked out of me.)

Roy was waiting for Robin's response, when someone sent him flying into a wall. *CRACK* Roy could feel the Stud he hit give a bit under his weight and didn't like how his shoulder hit. It would hurt in the morning. He was more concerned with the rest of the team and remainging civilians though. Many had been flung against the wall as if whoever had done it didn't care. Roy couldn't see who had unleashed the devastating attack on him and the rest of the group. Certain it was a villan. "Hey who ever did that. You suck. And I will get you for i... OOOOF" Roy stopped talking as Bane Jr. almost took his head off.

Luckily the Size of bane's Arm and the Size of Roy's skull almost matched so the blow was spread out. Still Roy hit the ground hard and skidded downstairs. "Uggh. OK and the truck that hit me..." Roy trailed off noticing just how damn Big Bane Jr. was when he was on top of him and about to crush him like a bug. "Was a man. Hells." Roy managed to roll to either side, barely avoiding punches that he was sure would crush him outright. The floor cracking under the blows Did wonders to improve his thoughts that he'd survive one. Then Roy found out the hard way he could. *CRUNCH* the floor still cracked under him but this time Roy felt a rib or two crack under Bane Jr's massive ham like fists. The hard case of his arrows not helping as the floor cracked slightly.

The wind driven from him Roy could only gasp as Bane jr grabbed his shoulder and tossed him through a window bouncing him off the Wall next to it and into a trash heap in a dumpster. Roy managed to crawl out thankful he still had his weapons and he'd kept his Bow safe so long. It didn't seem to matter though. Roy saw another dead man. Burned and mutilated. actually that looked like the quarterback at his school. Um Vic something. "Vic."

Roy was a little distracted with the fresh corpse in front of him, And somehow failed to notice between the ringing in his ears and the body in his vision Bane Jr. landing, grabbing, and tossing him again. Roy slid on the ground. Ripping his costume and placing fresh scratches and road rash on his chest and legs. He rolled up to see and away As Bane Jr. landed where he had been. Menacing and Angry.

The Jeffinator said:

(OOC: And that's what just happened. Moving on to what happens. From this moment on this is a private fight. Thank you. Also for Simplicity though it may be edited later. Bane Jr. shall herefore in my post be called BJ.)

Roy looked up at the ugly face of BJ Odd in his orange Gi. Blood trickled from his mouth which he thought BJ may enjoy, And noticed the corpse of Vic moving while arrows were left strewn beside him. Someone was damned useful. Roy began to speak seeming to amuse BJ a second

"Junior I may not know who your mother was, But I do know that you are one SON OF A BITCH." Roy brought Both feet up In a roll, and Attempted to Kip up after smashing them as hard as possible with his entire body into BJ's nose.

Roy could feel the Bone and cartilage break But BJ did not move. Not an inch. he merely grinned as Roy's legs stuck up into his face leaving Roy in a bizzare handstand. He smiled and reached then flew away. Roy got to his feet to see Superboy slam BJ into a parked van in the alley. Roy's heart leapt for a moment then fell as the Van turned Sideways Crum pled But more than big enough to wedge itself into the alley way. Roy din't think he could jump it in this condition. Now he was trapped. Roy readied an arrow and loosed it next to BJ. It stuck hairs away from him into the back of the Van.

"Hey Son. It's fair now. So come on. I'm gonna take you to school."

Roy nocked several arrows at once. He was trying to remember Ollie's advice. but through the haze and fog in his injuries all he could seem to remember was Ollie complaining that there were no vines in Sherwood Forest. Roy kept going Arrows ready taking his first slow step towards BJ. Robin hood stuck in Roy's mind and he let one loose trying to pin BJ's Gi to the van. It hit but BJ simply ripped it running towards him.

Another tidbit this one from Dinah about fighting a bigger man. Go for the knees. Bring him to your level. Roy Let another go sinking into BJ's Knee but the giant ran on. Oblivious to the pain, acting as if the arrow didn't even hit him. Roy was still moving slowly But BJ was picking up speed, tearing through the way and looking to make short work of him.

More from Dinah flashed in his mind. Take the high ground. Roy could see bane winding up for another clothesline and decided the first one was enough. Roy let loose an arrow with a spool of cord and Roy jetted up towards the wall. Jumping BJ easily and unhooking the Rope arrow from his belt Roy sent another towards BJ's back. Aiming to puncture the distribution system in the back of his neck. BJ turned and blocked the shot, letting the arrow slash deep into his arm. Roy fell from his high position and not gracefully this time. He could feel the strain his ribs took as he landed and staggered slightly. He took another look in BJ's eyes and reached for a hollow arrow. Miraculously unbroken, hoping it would be his salvation.

"Bane Junior huh. BJ. Appropriate for how much you suck." Roy gritted his teeth with that last snarky remark. It was time he ended this.

Ashton opened his eyes, then grinned. That trick was older than the Samurai. Still, he could play along. He decided to give them an after image to play with. He pulled something out of a pouch at his waist, and dropped it. Instantly, two things happened. First, the room was filled with smoke. Second, multiple images of everyone appeared on the smoke, from holographic cubes engineered by Doc Stone. The real trick was staying silent and waiting for them to move. He concentrated inward, and then managed to push the other person out of his mind.

Deuce had remembered the plan, from when Charger had ducked. And it seemed like the guy was not going to go for it. Oh well plan B. Deuce seemed to have no luck invading the man's thoughts who was he anyway. So Deuce reached out to Charger. She had taken stock and it seemed that Only Grundy and herself were still standing in the water coming to a halt from the celing. Every other person was a hero. Who cared about Grundy. She pulled herself on top of a couch and reached out to Charger's mind with an image of this prick frying on an elctrified floor. "The water. It's made a little pool. He's still standing in it. Fry them all." She tried to reach out and disrupt the man's thoughts as images of everyone flowed through sudden smoke that continued to fill the room.

Charger liked the plan but wasn't sure how much Juice he had. Looking into the ground and the trickling water Charger thought he could do that. He let his hands touch and pssed out a huge shock, Making a circle catching not the entire floor before it was useless but far enough to disrupt the cubes, which stopped spewing images and smoke. He could hear agonised groans of pain, and only hoped he'd gotten Samurai boy who he was closest too. As the smoke cleared he looked to see his progress.

(OOC:Tag whoever. Decide if you were in that circle or not and respond how you see fit. Most people won't feel more than a little tickle. And depending on power level, distance, and shoes maybe not even that. But if you're looking for an equalizing excuse feel free.)

Solomon Grundy (Born on a monday.)

(OOC: Yeah I know. Triple Post. Please forgive the lack of coloring to get this one through. I'm running out of distinctive colors for people, and really it's like past 4 am for me. I'm tired and getting this done so people have something to play off in the morning. Also since Solomon cannot really talk I'm jsut going to use people's names. Unlike everyone else it matters not if I use a name, Solomon would never know or say it anyway.)

Solomon was surprised. He really did expect Damage to be smushed. Like a maggot caught in a coffin door, but this was one strong maggot. Blue light flashed further and Solomon had to give a little bit before he ground back. The ground underneath them cracked as Damage refused to give. "On a monday" Solomon managed to growl out finally forcing Damage's wrists to bend slightly. Using that momentum to push farther, the grave stink of his breath wafting forward, reminding Damage of his ultimate destination. A noise however distracted hium and he turned his face to look.

"Hey, you could at least bathe before you attack you know."

Solomon's head snapped back with the force of Donna's dropkick though arms still pressed to crush the man in front of him. He was slowly winning the battle of strength. Somewhere deep in the corner of his deceased mind something thought how funny it was that two heroes would try that with the same results. Nothing. The vision of loveliness in front of him spoke again and Something primal in Grundy could not help but give her attention as he bent Damage even further.

Donna launched a massive Ahymaker that grundy had all the time in the world to watch. His attention diverted between so many things he did not notice the liquid pooling around his feet, even when it solidified around his ankles. Unable to step and with the force of Donna's might and Damage's strength throwing him, Grundy was brought down for a moment. Unable to step back he crashed heavily to the ground and skidded to a halt.

"That's right. Time to play dead!"

Solomon saw the pretty lady standing with her hands on her hips. She seemed to be waiting and Solomon did not want to disappoint her. He was close to a fallen bike, and not one to waste an oppurtunity he picked it up. standing slowly. He cracked back into place and stood finally, holding Arsenal's newly repaired bike in his hand.

Now with 6 more feet of reach. Solomon stepped forward powerfully, and began a wind up with Arsenal's bike. He swung speaking softly and ending in a bellow. "Solomon Grundy." The front tire caught Damage in the ribs and continued on towards Vulcan, crashing and tearing the front wheel off, as it smashed through his blocking arms and kept going speed really building. The upswing continued with grundy's full body spin. A fantastic speed as Grundy clocked Donna solidly with the frame. "Born on A MONDAY!"

Solomon Grundy finished and huffed, holding only the solid back tire of Arsenal's bike. Examining the broken pieces like they were the most fascinating things in the world.

Beast Boy

With a shift to another small creature, he dropped between Firebolt's legs and became a grizzly again behind him. Gar slapped one powerful bear forearm against Firebolt's shoulder blades and dropped him to the floor. "Remember...only you," he said.

Stay down...please stay down...

Gar readied himself for a new attack upon Firebolt, but the other man merely rolled over on the floor and began getting up...his flames still intact.

Crapcrapcrap...

Beast Boy wondered how best to handle his opponent, when he noticed Spee...er...Arsenal across the room. Trick arrow time, maybe? Gar was unsure what to expect from his teammate, but he returned to human form and jumped back.

Roy fired a large tube of compressed oxygen into the flaming fool.

"BOOM"

It's explosion sent the flaming man directly into the sprinkler system in the ceiling. Roy paid attention to the ninja turtle and what had happened but noted pleasantly he seemed to have avoided the blast. Small graces.

There were still people fighting all over and Roy was not actually sure who was on his team. He took a quick run towards Robin, keeping supressing fire on a guy who was cursing now that water was falling from the sky.

Gar smiled. So nice to be on a team again. Let's go finish this guy off.
He advanced upon Firebolt, but hesitated when he saw the body stir.

Firebolt was out momentarily, then turnover and smiled up to Beast Boy. “Burn!” he yelled, and his entire body was covered in flames, yet they did not hurt him. Then, he sent a wave of fire into the green kid.

"Arrrrrrghhh!"

Even with the sprinkler system running and the fire failing almost immediately, the touch of it still burned and sent most of Gar's pain receptors into overload. He flashed through a brief array of animals as he screamed, each shape shedding more of the flames. Then he looked at Firebolt with an unnatural fury in his eyes.

Beast Boy rushed the living arsonist, and caught him against the horns of his bull form. He hoisted Firebolt off the floor and ran to smash him into the puddle of water that had gathered from the broken fish tank.

Charger liked the plan but wasn't sure how much Juice he had. Looking into the ground and the trickling water Charger thought he could do that. He let his hands touch and pssed out a huge shock, Making a circle catching not the entire floor before it was useless but far enough to disrupt the cubes....

The sudden shock of Charger's burst made Gar leg muscles spasm and he dropped Firebolt right into the midst of the electricity--and water--and instinctively dropped form into a flying squirrel. He glid through the smoke and falling sprinkler rain to a wall, and became a gecko.

Gar scurried along the wall up to where it met the ceiling to survey the room and determine everyone's--hero and villain alike--status.

As the electricity flowed outward from Charger, Ashton sighed. "That's not good. Well, fortunately the armor is ceramic. I just hope it's enough." As the electricity engufled him, it started to climb up through his feet. It wasn't very powerful compared to the protection of the armor, but he still felt it, and staggered slightly. He'd have to end this fight quickly. Where was Robin when you needed him, he thought.
