Sighing... Reikka sat there a moment watching Vic leave. Damn she didn't mean to say it like that but she wasn't going to take back her words. Getting up she ignored Robin's suggestion and followed at a safe distance before catching up with him outside. "Vic!" she called to him hesitant to rest a hand on his shoulder. "Vic... look I didn't mean it like that. I mean well I'm not taking back what I said but seriously...what are you so upset about. Guys flying around in pajamas?" she wasn't quite sure what his deal was but knew that it was triggered from what she had said. Sure use her powers to find out but she didn't like using them without a good reason. This just wasn't it.

After a minute, Vic turned around, but he did not look angry as expected, but was smiling. “You’re right. I do need to grow up, sorry I blew up like that. I’m a man now if my dad doesn;t want to be a father anymore that’s his problem. I don’t need him anymore. Hey -- since we both ate, wanna go for a walk in the park?”

Well that was unexpected but she couldn't pass up an offer like that. "Sure.. as long as you don't mind." she said and ventured to hook her arm with his as they took off. There probably wasn't much to be had at the diner right now so she felt she wasn't missing much.

"So what do you normally do with your time...outside of school and sports?" First strike up a conversation.

Star frowned, watching as Reikka and Vic left, then eased herself into a seat next to Robin. "I.. do not understand what just happened..," She said softly, looking at him. "I believe our happy news has been, ah.. displaced?"

"Happy news?" Raven glanced at them, taking a sip of her cocoa, groaning as she set it down. "Let me guess. You two-"

"Ro- ahhh- Dick and I are a couple! We wish to proclaim it to all our friends!" Star beamed at them, wrapping her arms about his shoulders and squeezing him with a tight hug.

“Well from now on, spending time with you,” he said with a smile, then stole a kiss. They walked through the park and passed a group of large bushes. “No one can see back there... Care to take a risk?” he said with a smirk, then jumped behind the bushes and laid down with his hands behind his head.

“Yes, it’s true,” said Robin with a smile. “Starfire and I are happily together.” He kissed her deeply then smiled as their food was delivered (assuming Star ordered too).

Di just stood there, dumbfounded, as the situation unravelled with the football guy. *Wow, what a guy. Wouldn't mind letting him throw my pigskin a bit....* Glad the situation resolved itself... well sorta... Di sat and ordered.

Then, the always-overly-giddy Star announced her and Dick's coupleship. Di thunked her head down on the table, hard. Three times, then shook it "no" slowly as she groaned, letting her shoulders fall. Ugh. A couple. Wonder-freakin-ful. She was trying, trying hard, to hook up with... well, anyone, even Reikka earlier yesterday... and this girl was new to the country. TWO damn days and she had a boyfriend. Wonderful.

Then, realizing the scene she'd made with her reaction, she sat up and looked around sheepishly. Smiling, she collected herself before speaking. "Um, sorry, I remembered some homework I forgot to do. Guess I'll have to do it tomorrow before school Monday. Congrats you guys." Another smile, sip of her milk, and thank the lord, the food arrived.

A minute later, a cute girl with flowing silverish hair entered the diner. She was wearing a swimsuit, and was apparently ordering something before heading to the beach by the Bay. She bought an ice cream cone, then turned and saw Di looking at her. She smiled back, then walked outside to her purple beetle.

Di raised an eyebrow, motioned to have her food to go, tossed Dick a $5 bill and pointed towards the girl. Heck, it was worth finding out if she had any... er, abilities. Maybe Di could recruit HER.
She hopped out of the booth and almost ran outside, hoping to catch the girl. yep, there she was. PURPLE BUG! Well, ya-hoo.

"HEY! Hey, there! Yeah, um... sorry. You're in my... English class, right? You got notes from Wednesday by chance? I had to skip out early...."

The girl smiled. “So that’s where I know you from! I thought you looked familiar. Yeah, I have the notes, but they’re at home and I was about to head to the beach. But, you’re more than welcome to tag alone if you like. After the beach we’ll swing by my place and get those notes. What’dya say?”

"Ummmm, sure!" Di thought about it a moment, then grinned as she remembered. Sending a silent message to Raven, whom Dick had already approved so she knew she was good... Di conveyed that she'd be at the beach and then going to get English notes with... um...
"Remind me of your name again? Sorry. I'm Di... and I'm awful with names!"

Then she blushed, realizing that lying to Rachel was probably stupid. The girl could read minds!

She giggled. “Name’s Mina.” She smiled, they got into the bug. Once Di got in, they drove off to the beach. The two shared a lovely chat along the way, and as they got out of the car, Mina pointed something out. “You don’t have a swimsuit.”

 

[Remec]

Gar was caught off-guard by Vic's outburst and scene; and when his old friend stormed off, he considered going after him. Reikka's doing so save him the trouble of deciding.

What would I say? I don't really know him any more. And, besides, if his dad's working with supers and metas, then he would have to know I'm still doing the whole Beast Boy thing.

He sighed and sipped at his ice water, then listened to the news from Robin and Starfire. "Sounds like another reason to party, guys." Gar looked at Starfire curiously and asked, "So, I know why I'm green. How come you're orange? Oh, and what should we call you when we're just sitting around, y'know, not being heroes and stuff?"

Gar glanced about the group. "And what's everyone else's names, for that matter?" he asked with a big laugh.

“Well from now on, spending time with you,” he said with a smile, then stole a kiss. They walked through the park and passed a group of large bushes. “No one can see back there... "Risk is it? I suppose being spontaneous wouldn't hurt..." she sighed and followed him behind the bushes. Watching as he laid down she sat next to him resting her head in her arms along his chest. "So what kind of risks were you expecting to take?"

"Most people call me Rachel." Raven shrugged. "Either works for me. Call it a... nickname." She gave him a slight shove. "So should I just call you Gar, Or BB, or...?"

Starfire frowned as Di left, turning around in her chair as she watched her go. "Have... I offended her?," She asked meekly, then turned back to nibble on her pancakes. These were pretty good! She looked up to Gar as he asked her a question, swallowing down the bite. "My- skin?" She looked at her arm, then back to him. "My people all are of this coloring..."

Ashton shook his head, then looked up as the waitress brought his breakfast over. He smiled, then looked at Gar. "Name's Ashton. Nice to meet you." He started eating, ignoring everything else while he ate breakfast.

 

[Remec]

Gar returned Ashton's nod with the same sort of oblique acknowledgement. Now, that's a man who likes his breakfast. He looked to the girls and nodded to Raven.

"That works. Garfield's a little dated, or maybe it's just the way people have to shorten things all the time," he told Raven. "Can I call you RaeRae?" he said as he leaned over and put his head against her shoulder to flutter his eyes at her.

He laughed.

Gar then noticed Starfire's reaction to his question, and sat back up. He calmed down a bit, and looked directly at Star. "Didn't mean to make you nervous or anything," he reassured her. He eased back in his chair and took a big bite from one of his biscuits.

"So, like, what people would that be, anyways? You don't match any of the aliens I've met before." He stopped chewing as if he'd just realized what he'd said. "I mean, you're not from here, right?"

 

[Mephistophelily]

Raven gave him a blank stare as he put his head on her shoulder like that. "Um... Lets leave it at Raven." Yep. He's officially the weird one with that. At least I've lost the title.


"Alien?" Star looked at him, a meek laugh coming from her. "I- I am just- ah..." She picked up her juice, downing it, then tried to change the subject by holding up the glass. "More please!"

 

[The Jeffinator]

“Oh, I dunno...” Vic smiled, then pulled Reikka to lay on top of him, kissing her deeply.

“What?” Robin said, swallowing hard. “She’s not an alien. She told us she’s from somewhere over in Europe or something. Then again, I’ve never seen a human with that color skin... Star, are you from another planet?”

 

[Mephistophelily]

"I would like to have more juice please..."
Star gave a soft squeek as Robin questioned her as well, sliding down a bit in her chair. She had hoped to avoid these types of questions... and now she was very afraid that Robin would not want to be with her if he knew such things...
Especially since she had lied.
"...Excuse me...."
She shoved the chair out, rushing outside.

Robin rushed after her, finally catching up and pulling her into a tight hug. “If you are from another world, it’s okay, honest. Ever heard of Superman of the Justice League? He’s an alien, and look how much good he’s done?” He kissed her deeply. “Just be honest with me.”

 

[Kuuroinochou]

Reikka opened her eyes wide in surprise but easily situated herself more comfortably as he kissed her. A soft pur escaped her lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back.

Star sniffled as he held her, kissing him in return. "You... you are certain you will not be upset with me?"
She looked at him, her lower lip shaking as she nodded. "My home is Tamaran. I was taken prisoner by the Gordanians... But I broke free and found my way to your planet to hide. They have not found me, and I do not wish to leave." She hugged him tightly to her, crying. "Please do not hate me for lieing to you, Robin...," She whimpered. "I did not know what else to do..."

As they kissed, Vic let a hand slip down and run up the back of her thigh. He inched it up, under the hem of her skirt till he could feel the back of her thong panties. Smiling, he let his hand massage her behind a bit, then gripped the panties and slowly pulled them down.

Robin hugged Star even closer and kissed her deeply. “I am not mad. You are not any less desirable as an alien. I assure you, I still want to lay with you again tonight.”

Star smiled up at him, even though a few tears still hung to her cheeks. "Thank you, Robin... I- I do love you, very much. I was just afraid that-"
She took a breath, letting it out in a slow sigh. "I am happy here, moreso with you holding me... I know I am different, and I know that I have a hard time understanding things that happen here, but I want to make Earth my home."
