Titans: The Revised Adventures RP

Raven glanced up as Riekka called out, raising an eyebrow as the head waitress went to set up a table for their group. *Having fun, are we?,* she asked, smiling to Riekka as she sent her the thought. *He's a rather big fella, isn't he?*

"Your table is ready, ma'am." The waitress smiled at her, causing Raven to give another frown. Ma'am?? Thanks a lot.

"Riekka? You going to sit with us, or...?" She trailed off, folding her arms as she smiled again.
--------

Star giggled at his comment, blushing as she pulled on her boots. She followed behind him as he gathered up the last of his things, grinning hugely as they headed down to his bike. She found last time she enjoyed holding onto him... and this time she did so with more confidence, her fingers brushing along his chest as he drove.

“Should we tell them about us, Star?”

She looked up at that, resting her chin against the back of his left shoulder. "I would be most proud for our friends to know about our feelings towards one another," she said with a smile, kissing his shoulderblade.

Reikka glared at Raven but then smirked. *Well yeah he's a big fella so what...* she shrugged sending Raven a flash of naughty things. She laughed out loud at that, "Hey there is room over here, big ass booth.. come on over." She called, "Sides you can meet a new friend of mine, Vic this is Rachel and uh... yeah green boy."

Raven coughed loudly at the visions Reikka shared with her. *Oh, that's nice. Thanks for that.*
"The others are still on their way here. I guess we could sit with you for a bit.." She glanced at Reikka at the introductions, a slightly sour look on her face about Beast Boy's intro.
"His name is Gar," She said flatly, giving him a glance with a surprised look on her own face. She quickly looked back to Vic, nodding to him. "Ah... Hi."

Reikka giggled and gave Gar a wink. "Man I just love teasing him he's adorable. Arent you Gar?" she said with a chuckle but set back calmly, poking at her meal. "Oh I already order you guys were taking too long and well big guy here got me all hungry." In more than one way but she left that to her own thoughts cutting Raven out of it for once.

“Me too,” Robin said with a smile, enjoyed her warmth against him. He thought of all the things they could do together as a couple, all the moments they could share. He found his face burning red as he pondered these things, and before he knew it, they were turning onto Main Street. Just a few more blocks to Bob Evan’s.

Vic smiled to Raven, and then when they mentioned green boy, he did a double take. “Gar? Garfield Logan! Oh my GOD! Man, come here!” Vic stood up and pulled Gar to him, engulfing him in a huge bear hug. “Dude, I thought I’d never see you again!”

Gar shook his head at the way the Raven and Reikka bantered back and forth and around him. You'd think I wasn't even here. He turned to meet Reikka's new friend and his eyes grew big.

“Gar? Garfield Logan! Oh my GOD! Man, come here!” Vic stood up and pulled Gar to him, engulfing him in a huge bear hug. “Dude, I thought I’d never see you again!”
Gar sucked in his gut and then slithered around the bulging biceps to shake his head and smile at the football star. "Vic?" the python head said incredulously, forked tongue flicking about every now and then. "Coolness! What're you doing here?"

He dropped off Vic's arm, became himself, then threw his own bearhug around Vic--nearly knocking down a light as he picked his old friend up easily in grizzly form.

Reikka eyed the two giggling at Gar's form he was a funny one that was for sure. No wonder she liked teasing him. She allowed the boys time to get reaquainted seeing as they already knew each other. "So... seems you two know each other from some place. Mind feeling the lost kittens in?"

"Just old friends," Gar answered Reikka, "from when we were children." He had a seat in a chair at the table the hostess had shown them to. "Back before my parents died, and even afterwards when I was with the Doom Patrol, I would hang out with Vic whenever my folks or Steve Dayton would have to go to whatever set of laboratories his dad was working out of."

He turned and looked at Victor. "Is that why you're in Vector City? Is your dad at the STAR Lab here?"

Reikka smiled, she had to admire their friendship, lasting even beyond the years of seperation. She couldn't remember the time she had made any friends...oh right she didn't have any. And just now realized that she'd been calling most of the Titans friends up until now... sighing she sat back looking out the window. "Must be nice..." she muttered.

“Unfortunately,” said Vic with a frown. “Dad changed when we came her. Last night he told me to drop football and get real. He even forgot my eighteenth birthday last week...

Ashton waited till Di came within range, and grabbed the keys out of her hand, putting them in the ignition. After everyone else was inside the truck, he started the engine, and headed for the cafe. The ride there was uneventful, and as they pulled into the parking lot, he spotted Gar and Raven entering the place. He got out of the truck, followed by the others, then locked the doors and headed inside. He recognized Vic Stone immediately, and shook his head, seeing him near Reikka. "Vic, how was the last game?" He walked over to the booth Raven and Gar were sitting in, and slid up beside Raven. Then he placed his order with the waitress, requesting eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and cheese.

Raven smirked as the boys reunited about their past and current situations, glancing up as Ashton plunked down next to her. She gave him a shocked look as he started to order. "Why not just order butter wrapped in bacon..?," she asked him, shaking her head. "That sounded like a heart attack on a platter."
She looked up to the waitress. "Cranberry muffin and a cocoa, please."

---

When they arrived in the parking lot, Star jumped off the back of his bike, her feet barely touching the ground as she waited for him. "I am anxious, Robin..," She gushed, her hands clasped together as she beamed at him, then glanced through the window. "And all our friends are here now!"

Reikka caught Ashton's eye and chuckled a bit. Well that was just great, everyone already knew Vic which mean no introductions. Praise be... her mind thought as she slid over giving the other's room to sit. She decided to order some orange juice and toast to keep her hands busy with something.

"Dude, that is so wrong," Gar the Grizzly said with a shake of his head. He dropped down to be himself once more, and grinned really big. "Last week? You know what that means? Halloween Birthday Party!!!"

He slid into a seat and kept talking, "I mean it, we'll deck out the place with some trippy black lights and some of that glowing goo stuff, some fake spider webs, it'll be great." Gar turned his attention to the waitress and said, "I'll just have whatever the breakfast special is, but go ahead and put any meat on his plate." (Gar indicated Ashton with a casual point of one hand.)

Gar brushed the menu and stuff back from the seat next to him and offered it to Raven; he even stood back up to pull out the chair for her.

OOC: Off to bed *wave* if we just eat and jump ahead, that's cool. Anything else, I'll adapt to tomorrow.

After he had bought the equipment he would build his air-taser from, Rupert found he was surprisingly hungry. He saw a restaurant over the road, Bob Evans, and decided to stop in. He found a footbridge and crossed over.

The place wasn't too full, so he entered. He noticed a group of people from the school gathering around someone he recognised, since he'd seemed to be a bit of a hero at Rupert's new school... Vic Stone, American football star.

'I don't see what the fuss is about,' thought Rupert. 'Why should it matter if someone is good at sport? The more things change, the more they stay exactly the same.'

He ignored Vic and walked over to the counter. "I'd... like a full English please," he said, then catching the look of puzzlement the waitress gave him, he tried to describe the meal item by item. "Er... it's uh... sausage, bacon, eggs... um...oh yes, mushrooms, baked beans... fried bread."

The waitress looked a little disgusted at the last item. She told Rupert that they could do everything apart from the mushrooms. He nodded and went to find a table. He found one that was free a short distance along from the table where Vic Stone and company were sitting. He pretended to look out of the window, while actually watching that group in the reflection.

They all looked like they were having fun, like they were friends. '...but you're not really...' he thought. 'You're all just faking it, hiding any real feelings you have behind plastic smiles and plastic affections. Thick Stone can't even see that people only like him because of his sport. If he couldn't play, no-one would bother hanging around with that meatbag.'

He chuckled a little to himself at the pun he had made. 'Thick Stone', he thought. 'Certainly suits him.'

"I'm liking the sound of this party of yours already. I'm sure I could help with some more.. decorations to fit the whole theme." Raven smirked at Gar. "I'll just warn you now, though. When Robin gets this new place set up for us, stay out of my room. You'll find things you probably won't enjoy in there."
Right now, all her things were held in a storage unit on the edge of town. It made her incredibly uncomfortable for so many supernatural items to be collecting dust and protected by a mere padlock... but she couldn't do much else with it.
"Let's just keep clogging his arteries," she added with a smile at Gar's comment on the meats.

"Oh I am so going to help with this party. I got plenty of creepy ideas in mind and a few pranks or too. You dont' mind so much do you Vic? Of course not..." She went on in her mind about the awesome things she could do, even if there was such a short amount of time. By the end of the night someone had to be covered in slime she would have nothing short of it..even if she had to jump in a vat naked. She flashed that thought to Raven giggling with a wink... she liked teasing her too.

Raven gave a foreced cough and Reikka a wide eyed glance. *And just where do you plan on finding that?!*
She glanced behind them, peeking out the window and seeing the hyper Starfire clinging to Robin out front. "Oh, great. Looks like she's all wired up again. I'm surprised he hasn't said anything to her about that yet."

*I got my ways of doing things...it ought to be fun.* she responded back but turned to the others as they seemed quite happy with the turn of events. Settling back in her seat she watched the banter amongst everyone settling on sipping her water.

“Booyah! Partay time!” Vic laughed hard, then looked at Raven with a bewildered look. “Robin? As in the Teen Pajama Wonder and former sidekick of Rat-with-wings-man? You actually know him? Wait a sec... they called you Raven..” he looked around at them with a suspicious eye, then pointed directly Reikka. “You’re the Teen Titans, masquerading as normal kids! You’re all secretly pajama freaks!”

“What is going on here, guys?” said Robin as he walked in and overheard Vic’s shouting.

“You’re Robin the Bird Boy!” accused Vic. Robin faked an insulted frown.

“I am most certainly not,” he said sternly. “My name is Dick Grayson. Remember, the guy you shoved into the wall while walking by on the first day of senior year? if I was a superhero, I’d have kicked your ass.” Knowing Raven and Reikka could pick up his thoughts if he sent them, he did so. Which on of you was stupid enough to refer to me as my superhero name in front of this jock?

*That... would be my fault. Sorry on that one... Hey, he just called me a pajama freak. You think I'm happy about that?*
Raven sighed, giving Vic a glare. So she slipped up. Now he was bellowing it for the whole block to hear.

Starfire ducked behind Robin's shoulder as the big man stood up, pointing and yelling at Robin. "Yeeek! I thought we were here to meet friends, not to take part in another battle! Please calm down, big angry man!"

Reikka giggled but it wasn't her she never mentioned them in any form aside from beastboy who she never knew his real name. *Not me...talk to beasty boy or rav-hen.* she said and folded her arms over her chest lightly. *And its not a problem Raven. I'm not that broken over it.*

She frowned at Vic's excitement not liking the way things were turning out. "Seriously, Vic I don't do the pajama thing. Skirt yes, pajama...only at night and I perfer a teddy if you will." she sipped her water again lookng out the window.

Vic sighed loudly and sat back down, folding his arms and speaking in a low voice. “Don’t lie to me. I know the truth now, you’re all Titans....” after another heavy sigh, Vic waved a hand. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. It’s nothing personal, I just have issues with the whole superhero gig. It’s because of all these superior beings surfacing that my father got involved with STAR Labs. People are no longer created equal...”

"You know sterotyping is a little over rated. While I do assume them my friends I am simply here to scope their gig...so please. Be sure of the information you get before pointing fingers. As for not telling." she looked around the restaraunt with a huff. "I believe anyone within a twenty mile radius heard you screaming... is it truly that big a deal. So your father turned into an ass, grow up." Why was she acting uppity... being around a crowd made her uncomfortable and now her attitude toward the group had switch drastically. Sipping her water she sat back letting the others do the talking while she lapse into her usual self.

Vic stared at Reikka, his eyes full of anger, his temper preventing him from speaking clearly. He seemed to growl a bit, slammed a fist down on the table hard, then got up and stormed out of the diner.

“Let him go,” said Robin as he sat down. he picked up a menu and ordered a cheese omelet with mushrooms and green peppers. "Don't worry, I'll cover his meal," he added, looking at the waitress.
