"I'm mostly here to be on my own. I want to have all kinds of fun but so far its being snoozeville. There's nothing to do around here."

Well Vector can be a quiet place so close to canada. Not a lot of things really in this place and More than Enough law to keep it that way. Doesn't mean there's nothing to do, Just got to look harder for someone worth it."

Roy grinned and wondered if she caught that, he poured two creams into his coffee and stirred looking at the whipped cream on hers. Now that would be interesting to watch her drink.

The waitress came back and Roy was feeling simple. "Bacon ,Eggs, Maybe some sausage." He gave the waitress the menu and almost spat at her next question.

"You wanna Banger."

"What? Uh Miss" Roy eyed the name tag. "Marcy. I'm not sure that was the right statement..." He stopped, Marcy was showing him on the menu a large english sausage. Bangers.

He blushed a little and sipped his coffee, Looking back at Terra hoping she'd take this in good humor. His head was not on right today.

Terra kept her eyes trained on him saying nothing at first just letting it all soak in. His slip up or if it were one, caught her with a slight tickle as she giggled. Their drinks brought to them she licked her lips excitedly taking a sip of her coffee. Sure enough the cream found itself on her nose which she easily licked away.

Dipping her finger into the cream again she licked it from her finger, giving a suggestive play before the waitress came in, "I'd bang'em..." she said pointing to the banger on her menu. "And some eggs please." She left to place their order leaving Terra and Roy in silence.

The guy was awkward it was written on his face. She slipped her shoe off under the table reaching beneath to place her foot against his crotch. "So what kind of fun should I be looking for? I'm quite positive I've if I looked elsewhere I'll find someone to do."

She laughed it off and Roy smiled a minute. The familiar cocky grin stretching across his face. "Well if you'd settle for something like that I don't know what I'm doing here, Just a guy not a sausage." Her foot came up and pressed into his crotch and he just managed to keep his eyes level as she pressed the ball of her foot in a little.

"So what kind of fun should I be looking for? I'm quite positive I've if I looked elsewhere I'll find someone to do."

"Well looks like you've got a little more than some breakfast on your mind, Or maybe you were hoping to get more than a bite here. Come a little closer and tell me what's on your mind."

Roy leaned forward little and pressed her foot in to his member still soft a little then took it away rubbing it under the table. Strong fingers working her foot under the table. Roy was currently very grateful for the table cloths. He leaned up and across the table, taking in an eyeful once more, this time making sure she saw him looking and liking it. Somehow he doubted it and hoped, that she was just a really fast player. Because it would confuse the hell out of him if she were a Meta hooker.

She allowed him to watch her, get an eye full of what he was looking for before she set back out his reach. Perhaps she was looking for more perhaps not. She only pegged him for breakfast not anything more but he seemed to be lightening up, maybe something good could come out of it.

Still she had her priorities about her. Picking some random guy (cute at that) off the street to take home? Nah that didn't sound like Terra off the top but she had insisted on having fun.

The foot massage was very much a surprise and highly welcomed as she closed her eyes allowing him to work her feet. The waiter would be a while before showing up and she wasn't sure just how daring she wanted to be, especially with a stranger. Slipping her other shoe off she let her other foot find purchase in his groin wiggling her feet to give him a needy massage as well. "I have lots of things on my mind. Things a boyscout like you shouldn't hear but I suppose I could get to know ya a little better...over breakfast. Who knows maybe if things hit off here I could possibly fit you in for brunch."

Roy had a quick facial twitch as her other foot started rubbing his crotch. He could feel himself begin to harden and was very thankful for the protective weave in his costume. He contiunued his Foot massage over now keping both hands under the table rubbing her as she rubbed him.

"Well I'm certain that I'm no boyscout. And brunch sounds good I'm always" Roy made a small motion of licking his lips "Hungry." Roy watched as the food arrived and made no motion to quit rubbing her feet, He lept his eyes locked on hers. Roy noticed the vauge purple tinge, he was growing more and more used to these things it seemed.

"Brunch sounds like fun but first..." she clinked her fork and knife together in a mild sense of thanks. "...get in my belly!" with proud giggle she forked the sausage bringing it to her lips as she continued to massage his groin with the ball of her feet. Slipping the meat in her mouth she made no notion of hiding her intensions a few patrons in the room catching her gesture and seemingly getting quite antsy themselves.

After a slight moment of teasing via food she bit into her meat, reverting to a more laid back approach. Though her feet never moved, or stopped. "So what do you normally do with your time boyscout? I want to know all about you.. or as much as I can in the time it takes for me to finish my breakfast. At least before something else comes up..." she winked forking her eggs and wolfing them down next.

Roy grinned and finally took one hand away from her foot. Letting the other bring his member to a more full attention. She had such a wild mischevious grin. He matched it and began to eat. Stopping as she started playfully performing a small act of fellatio on the sausage in her mouth. Banger indeed. She stopped and began to eat normally and he did too, trying to ignore the ball of her foot playing with him for a moment, showing very good control over it too. He looked up to study her face, her kinky hair, the grease still on her lips every now and then. Finally he put the fork down.

"Well I go to school. Same as most guys my age. And I work. I'm sort of a prodigy to law enforcement, Given a few jobs so far. I was in Vice for a while, now I'm here on Meta crime, tell you the truth I think it's some governemnt trying to use me to get to other meta's and get about. But I had a good teacher, and I don't mind if the system wants to give me a free ride for now."

He ground himself forward against her foot a moment. "For fun I do a few things, But I like a good workout, I jog, I'm captain of the archery team at Vector. And I'm usually pretty good with whatever comes up. Got great aim anyway."

Listening to him contently as she ate she doubled her efforts under the table. Sure enough he knew how to keep a calm outter appearance. That was quite sexy in her opinion. Even more so since she liked to tease in secracy.

Finishing off her food she wiped her mouth clean, licking her lips even though nothing remained there, it created the illusion of full suckable lips. Something she didn't have to accentuate to much. Eventually she pulled away from his groin sliding over to sit next to him.

With her coffee and creame barely touched she began to drink it. Licking at the creame every time it poked her nose she smiled. Eventually she reached an idle hand to touch his bringing it to her thighs. She took that same hand and began massaging his groin as she spoke.

"Well I recently moved to town. Left my folks in Cali cause they were tripping something fierce. I have a loft not to far downtown, pretty nice place though with my money currently revolked I'm not sure how I'll be keeping it." she shrugged turning purple eyes upon him, drinking in his handsome beauty despite herself. "You're cute." she commented and returned to her story. "I recently started school at Vector High myself though I've been a bad girl... ditched a few days here and there. But I'm not here for anything specific really just fun. You know the saying 'girls just want to have fun'..." she smiled gripping him firmly as she opened her legs slightly under the table. "So you going to show me how perfect your aim is?"

"Grant, I had a wonderful time too, I really did. And you are a wonderful guy, you deserve so much more then I can give you so much better."

Oh Gods this was hard, her voice caught in her throat, and the pain of seeing Roy in the other girls bed room, the pain of waiting for him the previous year in the park when he never came. All of it rushed back at once as reasoning for her to continue with what she had to say.

"Grant, I don't think it would be right or fair for me to get involved. I don't ever want to hurt you or lie to you. But, my life is complicated in ways I can't even tell you."

Okay, that hurt. But, if he was right, then it didn't have to end there. "Can't tell me?" "Or won't tell me?" "I...I'll respect your decision either way, but I think I should know which one is actually the case."

He was silent a moment. "This is about last night, right?" "When you suddenly had to leave after that old newspaper building was attacked." He looked up at her with a sad little smile. "You know, if you don't want to lie to me, then don't." "I've seen a lot in the last few months...and done a lot of things." "There's a lot I want to tell you, you're not the only one with doubts or, ummm, secrets."

"If you're willing to tell me, then I want to hear why." "The real reason, the full reason why." "Please."

Roy grinned inwardly and outwardly as she sat next to him, more so as she placed her hand on his and brought it to her thigh. He turned let his fingers trail up and down her thigh so toned and muscled, as her hand played back to him. He kept listening to her story about school and wanting to have a little fun, And the more he looked into those purple orbs and the more her hand sent sparks through his member the more sense doing this made.

"So you going to show me how perfect your aim is?"

An Invitation if he ever had one, and the opening of her legs was simply the icing on the cake for it. "Oh yes. I can show you that."

Roy's fingers trailed up her thigh then abck down the other firm muscle and callous from pulling the bow all day made his fingers strong and he rubbed deep pressing into the fabric as he teased her. "In archery sometimes you don't always go for the biggest target. Not like hunting or sport but you have to hit each ring in succession."

Roy teased through the fabric of her shorts rubbing her thighs and pressing closer, just touching along her crotch. Turnabout was fair play. "You start at the outer ring which is easy to hit. It's a simple and broad area then you move around that ring to the next." Roy nibbled her ear once as he whispered into it, Lazily trailing around Her lips through the cloth. Pressing firmly arching around them, and tracing over them again and again.

"Next you move forward to the next ring. Smaller and harder to hit, but if you're aiming you can't miss altogether. You have to hit somewhere, but a good archer knows where he will shoot, knows where the bolt will stab."

Roy pressed his finger in hard, pressing forward in an almost penetrative way. then resumed running his finger up and down between her lips. Pressing the material of her shorts in as he rubbed her. Her hand was presing in against him driving him wild but he focused deeply, on the one target his fingers searched for, the one thing he was looking for to finish his point.

"Finally there is only the final target left, never rushed there is only the bullseye. Seemingly large but it's hidden, only the few clever really know where they're aiming for. Most fumble and search, but few really find it, few havbe quite the aim, or the concentration nesecary."

Roy circled around Rubbing up and down having found what he was looking for. He pressed down on her clitoris, directly into Terra's nubbin, biting her earlobe as he whispered one more thing.

"Bullseye."

Donna was shocked he knew about what happened, after she'd left she wasn't aware of any news reporting on the incident but it must have gotten some attention. She had jerked her head and there was no playing that off as casual interest.

"Yes I..... Oh Grant..."

She eased off the loveseat and knelt beside him, her hands resting on one of his knees. Her eyes deeply pained and slightly hollow.

"I don't want to hurt you, not ever, because I do care about you. My life is full of things I would never want you to have to be involved with. If I tell you I'm affraid you'll hate me or get hurt, either one would kill me."

A deep breath, a sniffle and she caved a bit, her shoulders slumping, her head falling forward. The normally dulcet happy tone of her voice dropping to a pained whisper.

"I'm not who you think I am."

Terra squirmed a bit wiggling in her seat as she set back listening to Roy's instructions. His hot breath on her ears caused her to shiver but she did not pull away.

She purred lightly at his touch keeping an outward sense of calm though inwardly he was driving her nuts. An archer's hand seemed to be skilled in more than just the range. Her legs quivered slightly in anticipation of what was next on his lesson but she did nothing -past biting her lip- to hinder him.

"Finally there is only the final target left, never rushed there is only the bullseye. Seemingly large but it's hidden, only the few clever really know where they're aiming for. Most fumble and search, but few really find it, few have quite the aim, or the concentration nesecary."

"Check please!" Terra squeaked out, he was good she'd give him that and fun on top of that. Always a plus but this was not the time or place to fool around. Topping off her coffee and straghtening herself the waitress brought their bill.

She turned to Roy with a soft smile and almost devilish grin to her lips. "I suppose its only fair but if you stick with me long enough. I'll show you why they call me Terra." she giggled cutely and stood to her feet slipping her shoes on as she went. Though as he moved to get up she hovered over him and planted a light kiss to his nose. "Thanks for breakfast, boyscout."

Grant shook his head. "You're the girl who I sat with in chemistry and talked about how much it sucked to be the new kid." "You're the girl who laughed at my lame joke that the Vector High team should be called The Fightin' T-Squares." He took a risk, reaching down to cup his chin in his fingers, tilting her face up to look into his. "You're the girl who made me smile and laugh the way I hadn't in two months." "The one who came down with the morning sun behind her, giving her a halo of golden light."

"You're the girl who likes walks in the park, and has an eye for photography, and made me feel like I was good." He felt his cheeks redden slighty, but he didn't stop speaking. "You're the girl who makes my heart sing whenever you're around." "The one that makes me feel like there really is good in the world."

His other hand rested on hers, and his eyes showed only deep affection and simple, direct, honesty. "Whatever I don't know about you won't change any of that." "That's who you are, and there isn't any part of that that is a lie or isn't true." "You're Donna, and I care about you, and I want to be with you." "I'm willing to risk being hurt, that's part of life, you know?" "But I'm not willing to risk missing out on you."

He hesitated now for a moment, then pressed on. "I haven't told you a lot about me either." "There's a lot I left unsaid for exactly the same reason." "I thought if you knew you'd turn away from me, or that you might get hurt." "But...I thought about it and I realized that what wouldn't be fair or right would be making the decision for you." "I came here today to tell you everything, straight up, and then let you decide." He smiled, giving her hands a squeeze. "Can you do the same for me?"

“Yes,” Robin said to Vulcan. “We are looking for a few new recruits. Interested?”

"I AM INTERESTED..." said Vulcan, or more accurately, those words came from the speaker embedded into his head where a mouth should be. The voice was so cold and hollow, so inhuman, it was hard to believe that there was a human inside the suit at all. "ADDITIONALLY, I WOULD REQUIRE ACCESS TO..."

Suddenly the metallic hero seemed to shudder, but it remained still. The features of the body started to blur and then melt away, swirling back into themselves. The robot hero seemed to be shrinking, changing shape, until it looked like a humanoid figure surrounded by swirling red metal. Suddenly in places skin could be seen, and then more until... it almost looked like... it was... a teenager, very skinny, his glasses slightly lopsided, his hair messy.

"Aaaaaaaagh!" screamed Rupert as the pain of transformation took hold, he fell to his knees shaking, his vision slowly refocusing.

'I am me...' he thought. 'I am me... How long have I been Vulcan for? My memory is, I was...'

He looked up and saw Robin. He tried to get up quickly and his feet scrambled for grip as he fought a losing battle against gravity. Gravity won, and Rupert fell over backwards, landing on his buttocks with a thump.

"I... I... I..." he was as hopeless with his words as he had been in his attempt to stand. "You... y...ou're Ro... Rob...in."

Roy.

Roy got slowly to his feet taking the Bow and quiver with him. He got up to pay and took her arm as he walked. He smiled at her as they moved Close for a minute then apart. He put down a credit card to pay, Silently cursing himself for being a good person sometimes. He had given all his spare cash to Grant. Oh well he was responsible enough, And it's not like breakfast could be a big deal.

"Oh you're quite welcome. I enjoy a good meal, and company is always nice to have. Especially such a cute girl over breakfast." Roy took another moemnt to eye the Dark-haired girl. Looking at her again. Her eyes were actually purple, spirits but they were deep. "So. Did you have any plans after breakfast, As I really don't want to go do my paperwork now.

Donna

He lifted her head and she met his eyes with her own look of worry, he was saying such sweet things, could he possibly understand? Could she tell him? Diana still kept her secret identity and had managed all these years with only telling a few people. What if she told Grant and he got hurt because of it...or he told others... This was a defining moment for her, could she trust a boy she hardly knew with a secret that could ruin both their lives. Rational thought said no, but matters of the heart were rarely rational.

"Grant, I'm not like other girls, there are things about me that are different."

Well that was pointless, she needed to decide if she was going to go through with this or not. She supposed someday she was going to have to trust someone and he was right, she really did owe him that much. Another deep breath, held long enough for her to compose her thoughts. Donna pulled back from him gently and rose to her feet. She paced a bit organizing her words and began to speak very softly, her back to him, head fallen forward.

"There's a place, a small island in the Mediterranean. It can't be found unless you are from there really, that's where I'm from. It's also where my ....I guess you'd call her my big sister sort of... Gods this is difficult."

Fingers raked back her thick dark hair, trying to force out the words that she had never shared with anyone before, not even Roy. A mistake she'd be suffering with for a long time, if not the rest of her life.

"Ok. Last night when I left I told you here was something I needed to do.Well there was, and you're right the big building by the bay was being attacked by things...people... there was a lot of people getting hurt and that's not something I can stand by and let happen. I have.. powers I guess you could call them. Had them since I can remember, just like my sister."

Now she turned, hoping this part came easier to him then it did to her.

"Just like Wonder Woman. I'm an Amazon, Grant... I live as Donna Troy but I am also Wonder Girl. Sort of came here trying to find myself in all this mess of life. The last thing I ever expected was to meet someone, after last year... "

Yeah that required some explanation too.

"Roy Harper and I dated last year, he was amazing and wonderful and I thought we were really happy. But I found out that Hades was literally raising hell on my home and I had to go, I had to. Roy never met up with me so I could tell him face to face. When I came back I tried to contact him but he was gone. We'd spent three months almost together everyday and then he was gone. Because of me. So I never expected to meet anyone here, no one that I could.....be with. My life is crazy and random and erratic and I can never make promises about things because I'm not sure. I lost Roy, I mean..he's obviously moved on without a problem, but I don't want to put you through that Grant. And I never want to see you hurt."

She took a moment to let her words sink in and prayed to Athena that she was being wise about this.

"I doubt I'll know it much better. I've only been here a few months myself." Raven smirked at him, starting into the hall. "What are you in the mood for? You're vegetarian, right? Which means the meatlovers buffet is out of the question." She gave him another smile. "I'm not a big fan of most meats, myself. I'd rather just have some fruit and breads... Wait. I've got an idea."

With that, she grabbed his hand. She usually wasn't that talkative at all- between the odd feeling that she had around Gar and the want to keep him from feeling bad again, she was just rambling away. "Let's stop by one of those little markets and get a few small things, then go to the waterfront. Its a bit more private, and we don't have to worry about people looking at us like that did in that restaurant. At least, I felt like they were. I'm always paranoid like that."

Grant didn't say a word as she spoke, he just listened. Wonder Girl? The Wonder Girl? He put the image of the teen heroine he'd seen on TV in his mind, as he looked at Donna. It fit, perfectly. With the costume too, it looked so natural and right on her...because she was an Amazon goddess. Well, to him, anyway.

She stopped, watching him silently. He knew he had to say something...but where to start. "It's not my business...but the thing with Harper...one of the good things my foster mother told me was that nothing had just one side." "Especially when two people are involved." "Don't blame yourself, Donna." "If he knew he'd have understood."

He raised his head, looking up at her. "And...well, I know." "So, if you need to go, if something happens, I'll understand." "So, that way, I can't be hurt." "I mean...you're Wonder Girl." Amazement and admiration mixed with the care in his voice, "you've got to save the world, and if you need to miss a date to do it, I can deal." "I don't think it makes you wierd, and it doesn't freak me out." "It's cool, really cool." "It's just one more way that you're amazing."

"I'll keep your secret, Donna, I promise." "It...it means a lot that you trusted me enough to tell me, it means...pretty much everything."

Grant sighed, "It also means that I've got something to tell you." "My secret." "I wanted to anyway, though." He smiled at her, his eyes bright, "I want you to know everything."

He closed his eyes, "Up until yesterday, I was homeless." "I was squatting in an old condemned building, breaking into the school to shower, getting most of my meals from a dumpster." God, admitting that was humiliating. Why had he started with that? "I was running from something I did, and some people who know more about me than I do."

"A few months ago, after we'd just moved to Georgia, it started." His voice and eyes were distant, lost in memory now. "i'd had another argument with my foster father, and I left the house." "I'd gotten pushed around by the quarterback of the high school team earlier that day, and when I was out, I saw his car." "I don't know what I was thinking, but...I hit it." "I destroyed it." "With my bare hands."

"It was like a switch had just...flipped on." He shook his head, remembering those first few days. "I could outrun cars, and jump whole blocks, I could lift tons, and I couldn't be hurt...it was like a deam come true." "The few friends I had said I should be a hero...one of them made me a costume, and they started calling me Damage." "Just a day after that, Metallo showed up, started rampaging through town...I never learned why he was there." "But...I was dumb and i had these powers, and I fought him." "We ended up at the high school, and it was strange, the longer the fight went, the stronger I got." "Until...until I couldn't hold it in any more, and all that power came rushing out of me." he looked away, "I blew up the school." "All that power just exploded out of me, and then I was standing in a crater." "I could have hurt people...maybe I did, I didn't stay to find out...I-I acted like a coward, and I ran."

Donna had moved closer, her eyes on him. He hadn't even noticed, but he's changed position, almost hunched over as he spoke of the memories that he was still ashamed of, that haunted him. "I ran home, but there were men in body armor with guns waiting for me." "They wanted to take me somewhere, and I fought them, but...I wasn't strong anymore, not as strong as I was." "I'd been hitting Metallo hard enough to hurt him, but...I couldn't stop them." "I couldn't do it when it counted." "My foster parents came out into the yard, handed the leader a bunch of files, said everything on me was in there." "My foster mother asked to be allowed to attend if they decided to do an autopsy or a vivisection." His voice was dead now, and his eyes dark. How could they have done that? How could they not care? "Then the leader said they'd done their job, and he shot them." He hadn't stopped it. He wasn't sure if he couldn't have...or if he'd let it happen. "I...I went crazy, and the power came back, faster than before, and I broke free."

He rubbed his face with his hands, hiding it for a moment. "I ran away again, and just kept running." "I've been running ever since." "Once I got here I thought maybe, just maybe, it was far enough." "Maybe I could at least finish high school."

Grant looked up, smiling for the first time since he'd started his own story. "Then I met you...and I felt good for the first time in months." "I wanted to do more than just survive, I-I wanted, I want, to be someone you'd like." "I want to make up for what I did, for what I didn't do." "I wanted to die in those days...but the guys who chased me couldn't hurt me, and I was too afraid to try." "Since I met you though, I want to live." "So that I can be with you."

He fell silent for a moment, and sighed. "That's why I thought I shouldn't even think about the way you make me feel." "But, that's not right." "So...I wanted you to know, I trust you to know." "I know it sounds goofy but...we both seem to have been hurt pretty bad." "Maybe...we can help each other heal."

"Well there's always going to the park to go kick rocks at the family pets..." she chuckled. "Oooor.. we could go to my place. Chill out watch some day time shows, perhaps throw popcorn at idiots for their stupidity.." she joked a bit then placed a hand under her chin thinking. "Hmm. Or we could get a little more aquainted. You still haven't shown me your advanced aim. And I've yet to confirm to you why they call me Terra." she winked then started for out the door as the clerk registered his order handing him his reciet.

Roy.

Roy grinned at her suggestions, walking out, stuffing the reciept into his pocket. She was wild he could see, wild and spontaneous, and Roy had been far too planning it seemed. Maybe she really would be good for him, he figured he was long overdue for some glad tidings.

"Well as fun as showing off just how well I can aim small rocks at feathered rats, I do believe that I'd like to see that loft. Lie back. Rest, talk, I haven't watched daytime T.V. in forever, it may be fun to throw popcorn at Falwell or Popoff. Do they still have shows on Sunday morning?" Roy came up behind her to pinch her bottom through her shorts. He smirked as if he knew he could get away with it, and kept walking with her.

"And maybe we'll get to some advanced techniques, and just why they call you Terra." he grinned one more time, and then looked about.

"So where is this place of yours? Can we walk from here? Or should one of us call up a transport?"

Gar/Beast Boy

With that, she grabbed his hand. She usually wasn't that talkative at all- between the odd feeling that she had around Gar and the want to keep him from feeling bad again, she was just rambling away. "Let's stop by one of those little markets and get a few small things, then go to the waterfront. Its a bit more private, and we don't have to worry about people looking at us like that did in that restaurant. At least, I felt like they were. I'm always paranoid like that."
Gar instinctively turned his hand so that it wasn't so much a grab as holding, and he stepped out of his room--pulling the door to behind him. "That sounds great," he said to Raven as he began walking her down the hall to the elevator. "And if you thought that was bad, try living somewhere like LA when you've been more or less in the public eye since you were, like, six."

He looked himself over. Then Gar looked Raven over, his eyes taking maybe a bit longer than need be. "Do you have one of those communicators on you? Should we take one along, in case HIVE returns or something else goes wrong?"

Gar hit the button for the elevator and absently ran his thumb over Raven's hand as they waited.

Terra purred as he grabbed her bottom but she didn't protest to it. A good ass squeezing never hurt anyone and it was as much a complement as it was a guesture of goodwill.

"Its not that far but I prefer my own transportation. Its free by the way..." the ground shook for a meer second before the asphault underneath them broke away from the ground and began to take flight into the air. She smiled sitting down and taking the ride slowly as she floated over the city.

"I'm not too sure what kind of shows they got. But I have kinds of old movies we can watch and talk through." she chuckled dipping low as the building to her loft came into view. "I got the top floor so its convient. No one ever sees me come or go..." with a chuckle she landed on the roof the asphault set down gentle as she hopped off and waited for him.

Taking the ladder escape she dropped down landing on her floor as she waited for him to follow. "This is the more scenic root to my loft." she purred and opened the fire escape door. Once inside there was a long luxurious hall decorated like a five star resort. Big contrast from the fire escape.

Pulling out her keys she opened the door and presented her loft. An airy skyrise overlooking the city below. The top floor and with the best view no less. "So what do you think... those windows are to die for right?" she gleamed running up to them as she pressed her body to them. "I opted not to put curtains on my window, I like to put on a good show after showering."

Rushing back up to him she took him by the hand leading him into her room were a plush canopy bed rests. "Its so comfortable.." finding her remote she pressed the button and a built in tv rose from its place at the food of her bed. "We can watch tv here or in the living room though its so much more cozy in here. I'll go make some snacks, you can rummage around in my dvd collection over there and then we can buckle down and pretend we're on a deserted island and can only get off the bed for food, drink and bathroom breaks..." she blushed fairly well turning her purple eyes on him. "I've always wanted to play the island game, but I hear you gotta be intimate with the other... in this case lets just let what may, may. I'd rather get to know ya along the way..." she smiled giving him a peck on the cheek before hurrying to the kitchen for snacks.

Roy looked about. it was an amazing place. Likely expensive as all hell. He knew places like this could run for $2500 a month +. His apartment was nice but not like this, And it was set up. Roy wandered, looking over the Flat TV that came out of the ground. The large bed, very soft too. And her pressed up against the windows. he hoped she wasn't a mind reader because he could see that in an entirely different way for a half second, then it went. Maybe he really was here to just watch a movie.

She told him to pick something and wandered off for snacks. This island game certainly sounded like a good way to kill a day, and really what use did the Office have for him. he never worked sundays. Should probably get on that home work though. what little he had. What was that. His brain attempted to reason with something as inane as a history paper when he was alone with a beautiful girl, in her home, rummaging through her DVD's. It was a bit of a struggle as he went through the stacks. Old Arnie Kitcsh, A Walk to Remember, True Romance, David Suzuki's guide to geology. Then he stopped, here was something good.

"Hey Terra. The island game sounds good. How do you feel about watching The Princess Bride?"

He pulled that and a few others Like it. Old Errol Flynn's, the 2001 Count of Monte Cristo, then looked for something romantic. He'd leave the choices up to her, But he was Ollie's kid primarily and these adventures were tastes of home.

"That I do." Raven reached into her back pocket, taking out the round yellow comm. "Robin was pretty adamant on us keeping one on hand. Hopefully we won't be needing it."

She felt a slight warmth coming to her cheeks as Gar's thumb ran against the back of her hand, glancing up as the elevator opened before them. "So you didn't like the fame? I kind of find that hard to believe." She leaned against the back of the elevator, glancing at him. "You seem like such a hyper guy. Would have thought you'd enjoy the attention."

Brushing a few stray bits of hair from her face, she gave a soft shrug. "I could take it or leave it. Sometimes I think I want to be noticed... but then when it comes, I get spooked and- things happen. I suppose its best for me to just blend into the background most often."

Gar nodded at Raven when she showed him the communicator, and remembered he had his in a back pocket as well. Good, we're covered there, then. He smiled and rolled his eyes, then gave her a little chuckle at the way she had pegged him with regards to the publcity of being in the media's eye.

"That's exactly it," Gar explained, "I don't particularly dislike the attention, but not all the time and not when it's a bother to my friends or family." The elevator dinged as he brushed Raven's cheek with his free hand.

"Somehow, I can't see you blending into the background." He shifted a bit of hair back out of her eyes and met her gaze. "Not at all."

The elevator door opened.
