Pittsburgh police have closed Liberty Avenue between Ninth and Stanwix streets Downtown as they investigate a report that a "Middle Eastern-looking man" left a duffel bag outside the Dominion Tower, formerly the CNG Tower.
Traffic is being redirected onto Penn Avenue. The incident was reported around 2:15 p.m.

And a little something about 90 miles down the Turnpike near the site of where Flight 93 crashed:

State police removed a package from the temporary memorial to Flight 93 today, and officials later said it contained a radiation testing kit.
The kit contianed no radioactive material and is similar to the kits used to monitor around nuclear power plants.
Trooper Thomas Spallone said when the site in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, was being closed at 9 p.m. yesterday, a woman found a green and white colored cooler, like those used for soft drinks, unattended. She pointed it out to a Somerset County sheriff's deputy, who called the state police.
The Somerset Volunteer Fire Department's hazardous materials team removed the package at 9 a.m. today under the direction of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

Please remember to get your bomb threats in early this week so there are ample emergency response teams available to respond. You don't want to be the one guy on your street who doesn't get a response to his bomb threat, now do ya???
