I have no problems sleeping Friday night or Saturday night. However, Sunday through Thursday...I swear I'm awake more than I'm asleep. I think I'm afraid I'll be late and I won't hear my alarm. I think I'm wound a little too tightly.

it could be that you are wound up too tight, i dont sleep a single night without being awake 3 or 4 times, i am a hyper type person always doing something, when i wake up in the night and stare at the ceiling for an hour at a time its kind of annoying!!!then what really gets me is when i have a chance to sleep in like i did yesterday i woke up at 600 and couldnt go back to sleep at all , go figure!!!

Something that helps me sleep, at least when insomnia sets in, is melatonin. It is a natural sleep supplement, that your body already produces. Usually on is enough all though I have had to take two so I can get to sleep.

I'd be more than willing to tell you a bedtime story if that would help.

You do know what will relax you don't you?

A nice deep massage, right after a steaming hot shower.:p

My problem is I slept too much. twelve hours last night. Now I know I won't be able to get to bed until like four am tonight. Much too late, but after sleeping until noon I won't be tired until then. I will be keeping the insomniacs company here, i guess or maybe i'll go on a movie binge. i guess its not such a bad thing,r eally.

PB, you sound just like me. I use to be the same way till I realized what the problem was. . . I'm not a morning person. I resolved this dilemma buy working third shift. I have no problems now, work all night, come home and sleep the mornings and mid-day away. Maybe ya need to look into working a different shift and see if that helps.

Well, thats my two cents on this, hope you find a solution to your problem.
