He is the man convicted of doing the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. Today he has asked that his appeals be stopped and that the death penalty be carried out. Some people are protesting that he be kept alive since killing him would make him a martyr. What is your opinion?

Personally, I think he should be tied to a tree with a small amount of dynamite rigged to his body. Only enough to hurt him at first. Then let him watch a very long and slow fuse burn its way toward him. Once that has happened, do it again and again, once for each victim until the final one kills him. I am not usually of this opinion but I have no feelings for this type of coward.

I'll second that....slow pain full death would be beter ...let the family members have at him......let them take there revenge..............

When you consider all the damage he's caused, I don't think even the architects of the Inquisition would be able to come up with a suitable torture for him. I think he should be executed quickly, with as little fanfare as possible, because he deserves no better.

I think you might be right on this.. he really doesn't deserve to live and I don't think he has expressed any remorse for the bombing, has he?

I think we owe the familys a wack at him................

I do beleive McViegh was involved. In fact I was convinced by the McDonalds video of him a few miles away.

But something is missing. That something is a body. There is a leg with a boot and camo pant leg that was never matched up to it's owner after the bombing.

Who else was involved? Who did the leg belong to?
Questions, questions, questions.

Should Mcveigh die, Yes I think so. But so should his co-horts.

Don't kill the SOB

Put him in The Bronx Zoo. Hang a sign over his cage that says: Evil, Militant, Racist Baby-killer.

Shades of Gary Gilmore, the convicted killer in Utah who offered to buy the bullets for his own death by firing squad.

The man wants to die, let him, he deserves it. However, he oughta be made to fess up to his partners in crime and what they did. No way he did this on his own.

Perfect!

Prisoner Survivor: Outwit, Outplay, Out anally rape

Can't we put all those sick fuckers (meaning murderers, rapists, kiddie molesters and anyone who wears paisly) on a small island together and then make sure they have no way to leave the island? We could make a TV reality show of it! It would be like Survivor only sicker! The survivor games would include "Who gets the last coconut?", "Who's my bitch now?" and "Please Leroy, would you stop pounding me in the ass?"

Whattaya think?

Perfect Sateema!!!

Now that would be a Survivor show I would watch! Turn them loose on each other without supplies!!

Well, being from the OKC area and seeing that McVeigh's book is about to be released I shall say again that he should be taken to the capitol in OKC, sat out on the steps and given his freedom, along with absolutely no protection from the police or government and whoever kills him would receive absolutely no punishment. The date and time of his release would be announced on the news. I promise you, he would never make it to the bottom step.

Timothy McVeigh...

The name alone is enough to make me sick. I firmly back the death penalty. I used to be against it, until a friend of mine murdered was murdered. Amazing how that changes your perspective. But on this one I am torn. On the one hand, let the bastard die...on the other, such hell to live the rest of his life with the knowledge of what he has done. Living hell...deserved death. Hard call. He made his bed...let him lay in it.

McVeigh is a murderer, but it took the media to make him a celebrity.

Quite true! Though..with a crime of this magnitude..how could he be infamous? Just a thought.

I knew there had to be SOMEONE in the world that had the same opinion as me. Why can't we turn some Pacific island into a prison for all these scumbags and let them kill each other off. If they become shark bait while trying to escape - Oh Well Wah!!!

I really like the Survivor show idea though!

*starts writing a show idea to CBS*

Insane ranting...you have been warned.

I was at my inlaws home today and the subject of the death penalty came up. My parents-in-law are strictly against the death penalty, stating that "we should have compassion."

Huh? What the fuck?
I did not say it there because I respect my elders and my parents in law are genuinely sweet people so I did not want to upset them, so I will say it here just to get it off my chest.

Compassion? Are you fucking crazy? Compassion for some nutcase that hacks up children or rapes and torures? Compassion for people who bomb buildings and kill mass numbers of people? Compassion for rapists who torture their victims and destroy lives? Compassion for monsters?

One can argue that we should not support the death penalty because it is wrong to kill a human being and that 2 wrongs do not make a right. Well, guess what. I TOTALLY AGREE. It IS VERY wrong to kill another human being and 2 wrongs do not make a right. But you know what? The thoughtless maniacle shits that do these things are NOT HUMAN. They are monsters. So, I have NO PROBLEM with their demise.

I myself am a survivor of kidnap and rape at the brutal hands of three men who left me to die (and tried to run over me to kill me) by a freezing cold lake. I was told last week by some moron woman that I should FORGIVE the men who did that to me. What the fuck is she talking about?

Forgive men who tried to destroy me?
If anyone has any ideas as to what the hell this bitch was on, let me know.

I am done. *sigh*

A few things if I may....

1) There is no legitmate research that the Death Penalty is a deterrant.

2) It is significantly more costly to execute someone than it is to put them up for the rest of their lives.

3)I'm sorry, but I cannot support state sanctioned killing in any capacity and in due time I think it will looked upon as a shameful practice.

Fat and happy in Canada, where we don't let our government kill our prisoners.

And I almost forgot...

1. If a killer is dead, then he cannot be commiting more murders. That is all the proof I need.

2. How is it more costly to execute a prisoner than it is to house and feed him for the rest of his life?

(By the way, I don't want this to become an argument thread, just a discussion. I respect your views.)

he makes me sick.

they should strap that sick fuck to old sparky and fry his sorry ass.

Eye for an Eye...

Has anyone seen the video: Waco, the Rules of Engagement? If you've only got info from newspapers and T.V. then you are not informed. The ATF fucked up first and had to bail only when they ran out of ammo. Then the FBI came in and slaughtered the Branch Davidians and burned it to the ground to erase all evidence of their combined lawlessness...except for the video footage that the ATF and FBI shot themselves. It shows that Waco was a Massacre. If you don't believe it, see the video for yourself. It includes the Hearings. Unbelievable! I too used to think that the Davidians were just kooks. But this Documentary was given 2 thumbs up by Siskel and Ebert as "Powerful" and changed the way I view the Waco carnage.

McVie was trying to exchange an Evil Eye for an Evil Eye. What he did was as reprehensible as those "Law Enforcements", but the Death Penalty is also an Evil Eye for an Evil Eye. My Brother, my Best Friend was murdered, but I still don't believe in the Death Penalty. Anybody ever see the movie "Mr. Death"? It's about the guy who invented Death By Injection. Rent it

I have not seen that film, but if I can find it and find a friend with a TV to watch it on, I will rent it. :)

I am not trying to be trite but I don't see what the WACO incident has to do with Timothy McVeigh and the OK City Bombings.

They are two separate things.

Waco...

McVeigh bombed the building to get back at the FBI for the Waco Massacre. More senseless bloodshed. My heart goes out to the families who lost loved ones.
