People. governments and organizations can label anything they want, but that equals to judging a book by it's cover and not actually comparing it to what it really is.

This is why I ask what people view as conservative and liberal, everyone's opinion is different.

I'm sorry, did you not hear the tape of the NPR reporter coordinating with the network reporters to "get" Romney?

Obama is their candidate and if they cannot print the good news about his economy or foreign policy, then you target, isolate and ridicule his opponent.

The reporters were coordinating their efforts to make sure that Romney couldn't evade tough questions.

I understand, though, as a Glibertarian you reflexively support people who avoid tough questions.

I have yet to find a left leaning think tank. Most think tanks that are considered left wing are actually third way MOR.

Edit to add - I wouldn't even call the Democratic party left leaning. They are now where the Republicans were when Reagan was in office, and the Republicans have moved further to the right of the political scale.

Just shut the fuck up about this. Candidates have been talking about moving the embassy to Jerusalem for like 30 years. None of them are serious about it including Romney.

Edit - And if Romney is actually serious about doing this in today's Middle Eastern climate then holy fuck he's an inept piece of shit.

Remember, Romney is a mormon, and according to his religion, modern day Jerusalem is somewhere in the north east of the United States.

Again, what is left vs right wing is a matter of opinion. Brookings, Cato, Heritage, Rand Corp, Hudson Institute are all right wing.

American Enterprise, Council on Foreign Policy, the former DLC are/were all middle of the road or third way think tanks.

A truly liberal think tank doesn't exist in the US, or if they do, they are so small and have such little sway in policy that no one has heard of them.

Juan Williams violated the terms of his contract. Much like the Chicago School Board violated the terms of the teacher's contract that led to the strike.

Why does the right wing believe that violating contracts is ok?
