's GOOOOOOOOO!

But seriously folks, anyone use it? If ya have to ask no you don't and scram. I'm gonna try and learn it. Now what I'd really like to do is pull my webmail into a different folder I can access from my main client. Because Horde® leaves me wanting

Yes, I use Thunderbird for my email as well as Firefox web browser. If a technologically inept person like me can use it, then anyone can! :D Seriously though, I have only very basic computer skills and have had no trouble at all with downloading and using both these applications. Give them a go, I think you'll be fine.

I have been using thunerbird since before it was thunderbird (mozilla mail). It is an awesome product. And Nice since I can have it running on my linux box, my mac and my windows machines connected to my central mail server 3+ os's, 1 mail browser. :)

that's pretty cool... i didn't know such a thing could happen, let alone that a mail client could function cross-platform (or whatever the appropriate term is).

i used TB a few versions ago but haven't seen the new product. i'm sure it's only gotten better and i was very happy with it back then.

TBird is the only thing I use and love it. I too am technologically challenged and TBird is easy to use and understand, very intuitive. It's also constantly being improved and updated, as is the FireFox browser. Both have a ton of features that assist with spam, pop-ups, and other annoying crap that seems to find your PC while surfing the internet.

But after using Outlook Express for so long theres that damn learning curve ohhhhh the inhumanity!!!!

It took me about 10 minutes to set up three email accounts and learn most the ropes.
There are also themes to change the look which is nice.
Maybe an outlook theme would help you feel at home.

I have been running the Microsoft office trials for over a year now.
That means every few months I had to uninstall the trial and download and reinstall it. I think now that 2007 is out they may be monitoring that more closely.
Anyway I got sick of it so I got installed thunderbird and open office.
I thought Open Office came with it's own email client like Outlook but I guess not.
