moving from here (RL "here").
Just a shuffling. End of lease thing. I migt end up in home studio, or in this building..or some of each. Regardless, there will be an upheaval of a LOT of stuff... including the pencil stubs.

Well I'll carry the pencil stubs. :D

oh thanks, Heman!

How about these boxes of books?
The router table?
The two prehistoric steelcase desks?

I'll gladly help carry books.

the router table has my interest piqueed as to what exactly you do...

The two prehistoric steel desks I have moved before and my back...
well lets just say it's not twenty anymore.

you could probably get enough from a scrapper to buy two nice wooden ones...

I need to get the scanner home... set up a 2nd one. I have 2, but one is SCSI cabled. Though it is a good scanner, I am not sure it will be worth adapting.
Looks like around $120... I COULD get a new scanner for that. hmmmm... ponder.

SCSI cabled? Really? Is that like....before most of us were born? Can't say I ever saw one SCSI cabled. Printer port, yes. Com ports, yes. USB of course. SCSI? I got a SCSI card around here somewhere... Which kind of SCSI? Have you got all the drivers?

Really for the time and effort and if it is old....I'd get a new one.

Of course, I'm all for buying new gadgets and stuff. Especially tools. And this would be a "tool" for you right? So there ya go. All the reason in the word to buy a new scanner. :D

Moving...Again?

Jeeze would you stay in one spot already! It's hard enough to keep track of you as it is!

Would love to help, with the lighter stuff, ya know, the back...
The steel desks, (I have one that the computer is used on) are easy to move, find two young men wanting money and alcohol, works everytime!

Did you get the horrid weather we got last night?

Off to work shortly,
C

not sure if this is an "again" move so much as it's a "still moving!?"..now I have a solid time frame.

can't say that we got the "same weather"..but it was quite slimey yesterday...rain pretty much all day with temperatures dropping steadily... until it turned to sleet. snowing now... less than an inch on the ground.

Thats what we have today, buses cancelled, made the kids go to school and get extra help anyway. Specially after a two page email from the Manchilds english teacher yesterday!

Off to work today, no schools called so back to the sawing boards! lol pun intended

hey there, kk.

I'm still in bed.

The women folk have gone off to hit some 6am sales (Kohl's was open at 4am)... not so much for the bargins as the fun adventure. The youngest noted "this isn't normal!"

I have my laptop here, because we supercleaned for guests yesterday. I'll probably waddle my extra 5 pounds downstairs soon.
Hey checked back but missed you all.
ugh..6am is waaaay too early for me. I went at 8:30 and that was enough!
Taking over the GB! Way to go BabyG.

Hi everybody.

Snow .... *sigh* ... isn't that the white stuff that falls from the skies in countries that do have a winter season?
