I am not heavy into the scene (BD/SM/Ds).
I get enough grief in my life and am laid back (submissive?) about most things, such that in the area of sex... I want to be in charge, but in charge of a woman who is "into" pleasing... not a situation where I have to be physically forceful.

I like to dish out spanks to a woman who enjoys receiving them. I am not into leaving welts. I do like the "trappings" of BD/SM... some leather, vinyl even a ball gag and or butt plug for her... but not so much stringing up...

I have a light interest as well, probably on the same level as yours. I go over to the BDSM forum sometimes and after reading I just shake my head and wonder at some of those folks. I just can't wrap my head around some of that stuff.

For myself, it's kind of fun to tie her up. Certainly not string her up. Little toys, not big ones. Play hand spankings and so forth. No whips, chains or floggers for us.

I do understand about your reluctance/fears. It wouldn't affect my job so much to post my work (except they wouldn't be impressed that I do most of it while they're paying me to do something else - so sue me - give me something to do and I'll do it!), but I'm sure if my immediate family saw some of what I'm writing there would be reactions from disgust to pity. My in-laws? *shudder*

I wonder if there would be any difference in their reactions if I made a potload of money from it.
