<laugning>...he actually turned it around?mjl2010 said:Funny you mentioned that. Something fun happened the other night with that number and it wasn't sex. I came out of the grocery store and three kids were hanging up new sale signs. As I walked past it just popped into my head.
I pointed at one sign and said..."That one is upside down." The sign had three big sheets of paper. Apples, 69, Per Pound. The kid coming down the ladder groaned and climbed back up. By the time I got to the truck, he had it off and was turning it around. I laughed all the way home.
Being on page 69...I like it too.![]()

no donuts...THROBBS said:ok... I wanted to rough somethng out for this, while it was still fresh. I will have to look up Crown Victorias... or whatever it is they PO-lice drive these days. Cars are not my thing. Back when I did the "Night Moves" illustration, I went to a car enthusiasts store to look at model '60 Chevys and Googled. I am not a "stickler", but I like it to be convincing.
<muses> yeah, I've always wondered how those doughnuts got that nice creamy white "icing" on topTHROBBS said:of course they can be.
