Oooohhh...I love contour drawings. I've been practicing lately with mostly inanimate objects. I will have to move on to people soon, but it's helping to loosen up.

MJL had suggested ribs (seemed like a stimulating concept)... so I added those... then somebody (a woman, so more weighty than MJL's opinion) didn't like them... then wondered where his book was (behind him)... then... where the tree was (over there)... so he just got fed up, and hung up the outfit.

Poor thing. Is there any way to coax him back?
