sometimes the metaphor is apt.
mmmm...REALLY enjoy this one! One day when I grow up and have a sufficient number of posts I'll be allowed an avatar. May I use this one?

I have been ntocing something which keeps becoming clearer.
This morning... more vivid.

It is the concept of "sexy".
I am visual. I do enjoy beauty. I have my own concept of beauty as a real and measurable thing. Not in precise measurements or exact quantities, but certainly within a range.

HOWEVER... there is also behavioral beauty (and ugliness).

As a cliché euphemism, we hear: "She has a great personality" and think: "She must be ugly" fat... or whatever.

I do believe that personality and attitude GREATLY influence my perception of sexiness or attractiveness.

... sadly, I am finding that my "rose colored glasses" are losing their tint.

I truly understand how feeling unattractive influences ones behavior...
but one should try to remember the adage: "sexy is, as sexy does". If one behaves asexual... one eventual really starts to become asexual.
A self-fufilling prophecy of sorts.

I saw bare breasts, this morning, which used to really turn me on. And not in the distant past. Today, they were... nothing. The circumstance was so matter of fact and so non-expectant of any reaction... that by golly, there was none.

Well, there was a reaction... a sense of loss.

Do you think part of your reaction is because we are so inundated with sexual images every where we look? I know this may be an odd question to ask at lit. I understand though. Sometimes I look at pictures of naked bodies and they just seem like a collection of parts.

Or maybe you need a break from lit and erotica. Sometimes I do. Or not. It's up to you what you need.

I understand what you mean though how a person's attitude can affect their sexiness. I think we are still in the minority thinking that though. Otherwise, I can't see why half the people who are adored in our culture get more than a second glance. Most people must still worship in the 'Cult of Physical Beauty.'

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy physical beauty as much as the next person, but I have always found gentle quirkiness sexier.

I have found that for myself, seeing a naked woman is not always a turn on. I can look at my love and see the woman who shares life with me and it matters not whether she is clothed or bare.

Other times when I'm feeling sexy and want to mess around, it doesn't matter if she's all dressed up sexy for me, naked and coming with a look of lust in her eyes or wearing her house cleaning clothes. I see the woman that wants me like I want her and that's the big turn on. I see the sexy, wonderful creature she is then, because thats what I want to see.

Sometimes you just see the person. Sometimes you see the sexy person. Size or shape doesn't matter much. It comes down to more about what two people think of each other.

Happy Monday. Blah!

My latest story is taking forever to post. Maybe I should have put one of your drawings in it. They'd all run to look and it would have gotten up faster.

This was from last week.
The concept comes from an idea of three college age women who have gone camping. Near their designated pee spot, they see a stump with a curiously phallic bit of branch remnant. Eventually one of the women will explore the stump more completely, which "arrouses" a dormant forest being.

"bother"?

HA!
The reason I am here is for attention...duh.
You make me all throbby, handsome, you know it.

Damned men and their attention-seeking.

It's exhausting.

I was actually trying to think of something for you on the drive in this morning and came out blank.

Long long time ago I read a story far beyond my tender years - something about these aliens who were basically big blobs of jelly - they acted as courtesans. They were telepathic and could pick up their subject's desires/perversions, and they basically enveloped the subject and used their telepathy to project what the subject wanted to see, and their gel could form any shape. I think they were clear gel, with air bubles in them. What do you make of that?
