threesome etiquette question

For those of you who've been adventurous/ lucky enough to have tried a threesome (whether it be FFM or MMF), is it proper to bring dildoes, vibes and other toys??

We've never tried a threesome yet (preferably a FFM situation), but are curious & would like to be somewhat prepared!

I've joined several couples as the bi female & introducing toys was something we discussed prior. The first couple I was with (it was my first bi experience) were really good & discussed, asked,suggested anything & everything imaginable. This made me feel comfortable knowing there were not going to be any surprises! An element of surprise is nice tho, so maybe keep it general, just ask about toys, nothing specific. But then if they ask for specifics, or what for who, that sort of thing, just be honest with them.

Having participated in threesomes and foursomes, I would definitely say that toys are usually welcome to join the party. In my experience, those people who enjoy partaking of more than one partner at a time also enjoy having a toy or two used on them or by them. Toys certainly add to the experience, but, if you are still unsure, it doesn't hurt to ask if any one minds if you use them. At the very least, bring them along and don't be afraid to put them to good use if no one seems to object!
