I was reading about Egypt and ran across this picture, taken in 78-79 during the Iranian revolution. I passed it by and read the article which suggested that in a 'Revolution', it is hard to tell who is going to come out on top. Because the mix of interests are impossible to determine when you write the 'new Constitution'.

In Iran there was an Islamic element who had been savagely suppressed for many years, and had developed a militancy that fueled the 'Revolution" and as we have seen, came out on Top.

Also in the mix were idealists, who desired 'freedom from Divine Rule'. They swelled the ranks.

And there was the disaffected youth, who came along for the ride.

It really is in the eyes.

I wondered where these women are now? I wonder what they would tell the Egyptians?
