Three to One?

I enjoy the Fetish and Sexuality and GLBT Chatter forums with equal enthusiasm. Each offers me something on any given day depending on my mood at the time. The ratio of viewers is pretty consistently around 3 to 1 with Fet and Sex always in the lead. What do you think, is this ratio a fairly accurate cross section of society or is it simply a reflection of Literotica? Hetero to Gay and Bi, 3 to 1?

I'm not sure any of us are counting or care to be honest. We're all just here to have a little fun and some of us stay in one lane while others bounce from lane to lane, spending a little more time here this week before spending more time there next week.

Thanks for the response Marty but that doesn't really address my question. my question is re: what we think the ratio of hetero to lgbtq might be in society as a whole and whether that is reflected in Literotica.

You can find this information easily on the internet. Surveys show about 2.5% are gay and 3.0% bisexual. Then there is a small population of transgender people about 0.5%. Of course the numbers vary depending on methodology and year.

Since the population of Lit is almost entirely male, I don’t think it is representative of the population at large.
