I have just done some laundry, more specific: socks.
Yes, today was "The great day of socks".

So, what happened was:
I was parring up the socks, a machine full of socks in light grey- light blue tones, 4 different sizes, loooots of different styles.
(The mundane life at its best)

Feeling confident, headphones on, singing along to Champs Elysees I started the job.
(So far so good)
Thinking I had this, smiling and turning up the volume.. it dawned to me...
31 pair of socks later... That there was no less than 11 single light grey-light blue, different styled socks left!?!

But how?!? How could this happen... I feel perplexed and bewildered.

I can't relate. I have 18 identical pairs of black socks, and 2 woolly pairs for snow. The worst issue I have is ensuring I rotate them (somewhat akin to frying minced beef).

I feel sorry for the betrayal you must feel. I hope you get through it.
