Thread Killers... not so anonymous

I looked and found the last page in the PG that I have a post in as the last post in the thread is literally the last page you can see - 21 pages back!

All good here in my side of paradise. We didn't even open the EOC or get called in for anything. We had the biggest street air here called Gecko Fest on Saturday with attendance down due to hurricane prep. As big as this freaking thing is & it's changed paths so much we are still watching it. The Fat Lady hasn't sung yet or passed us.

I doubt I will get called in period. The a$$hat running the CERT team kicked me out because I am handicapped and said no to doing a physical search & rescue drill not even 2 days after I worked 7 hours at an event for them on cement. He pushed me 4 times in front of the whole team who realized I was having issues standing & after the 4th time I point blank asked him "What part of No means No don't you get?"

Next day he calls pretending to care how I was then chewed me out and pulled the minority card. Told me I undermined his authority in front of the group and called me names for standing up for myself. That ended with me telling him No still means No. So he ran to the Fire Chief demanding a full resignation letter (apology included), all my equipment back, turning in all my logoed anything and more things that as a volunteer don't apply to me. The fact he is a part time employee who not only doesn't do his job but doesn't know the difference between rights of an employee or a volunteer tells you a lot. I told Chief No. Volunteers do not write any resignation letters or apologize for standing up for my self. My equipment came from my family and doesn't belong to him. My certification belongs to me not matter where I go & doesn't expire.

I'm back volunteering under the city manager but I doubt anyone will call me in as long as the CERT ass whines. What he did wasn't legal & the only reason I didn't call an attorney friend was because I talked to the District Fire Chief and turned them all in. It never occurred to the ass & Chief that if you want to pull the minority card... being handicapped & a female pulls a higher level the an apparently entitled mixed Black guy.:rolleyes:

So I am painting in hopes I make something people like enough to buy from my Etsy store.

So sorry. I love ya sweetie. It's been mainly my Lit friends checking in on me. So I needed to vent a little.:(

I'm better off doing real volunteer work over in Tampa where the First Responders know how to work as a team. Not be a bully in it for the power trip.
