Yes I am creating a clique (for lack of a better word) for a select group of people from Lit. I am thinking that there are others here who remember the 70s, 80s and maybe even the 60s fondly. They may be married, divorced, perpetually single, parents or not...but there are things that relate to this generation in particular - after all, how many 20 year olds can remember the 2cent Double Bubble?

Sometimes it is hard to sift through all the youngsters (not that there is anything wrong with them) to find people who relate to life events the same way that your direct peers do. I have many people who are younger than me that I enjoy but I am looking for the slightly older ones now.

Sure I could have done this on The Playground but all of my friends are over here so I thought it might be fun to hang out with people my own age.

Anyways...let's see what happens when we get together...who knows, a new friend could be in the next post! :)

You should have them post in a larger font to make it easier on the eyes.

To quote Woody Allen.

"I would never belong to any organization which is willing to have me as a member."

The best thing I remember about the '70's was the cut-off blue jean shorts.

Oh boy! A clique I can actually be a part of! Thanks Mia. BTW I remember 1 cent gum. Do I get a special prize?

I can remember when I went to the little store for candy and soda my mother would have me pick up her cigarettes.

woo hoo! Makes me want to break out my old bottle of Jovan Musk cologne! Nice to have a place where you can talk about LPs and people don't look at you funny!
