You only have to do tax returns if you own a business or you're self employed? Not here. Some Americans have been trained to be such idiots that they use getting a tax refund each year as their main savings plan during the year. Free use of their money to the government all year long, no interest paid to them- and they are HAPPY to do it!

Yep , well I think so I've never ever filled out a tax form in my life . I suppose if have a fair bit of money invested you might have to , but me just been an average working class bloke I don't , I pick to invest my spare money into a tax free account .

Ha! I spent hours sorting and organizing paper yesterday but haven't touched the actual returns yet! I did get my health insurance/Sc 125 stuff all straigtened out for 2000 though- does that count?Handy-Andy said:

I doubt it- he is preoccupied these days and even email is difficult to get out of him!
