Thank you all for your kind discourse. The site admins have made it clear that this type of art is not permitted on this site. I have removed it.

The image below is a Photoshop, a poor one, of public domain or creative commons licensed material. Speaking of which, the image of the naked woman is shared by user hypnodolls of DeviantArt under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ , it has obviously been altered to fit into the image. I will be deleting this image after a few days of conversation.

This is a 'cover' for one of my stories (The Black Hart). I am NOT submitting it as artwork to the site because I'm still unclear on whether or not it's allowed by the site rules. None of this was generated with AI.

The purpose of this image is to drive readership to my stories. People who might not know about my stories might see this and want to read something of the story behind the image. What do you think?

No worries. I got my pictures banned because I used classical art ( public domain) with some personal alterations.

I believe the preference here is for artwork to be created entirely by the person uploading it, rather than modifying something that already exists (even if it’s technically allowed).
i.e, the idea is to start with a blank canvas—whether that’s actual canvas, paper, or a digital platform.

Photo manipulation is probably acceptable, as long as you’re working with your own original photo.
