That reminds me of the Batman Christmas Game...

First, if you haven't seen it already, familiarise yourself with the '60s Batman movie. It has several bits where Batman and Robin need to interpret the Riddler's bad jokes, like so:

Batman: "What goes up white, and comes down yellow and white?"
Robin: An egg!
Batman: "How do you divide seventeen apples among sixteen people?"
Robin: Make apple sauce!
Batman: Apples into apple sauce; a unification into one smooth mixture. An egg: nature's perfect container the container of all our hopes for the future!
Robin: A unification and a container of hope? United World Organization!
Batman: Precisely, Robin!"

The game itself is: any time you get to pull a Christmas cracker and reveal the awful awful joke that's inside, you have to cast yourself as Batman/Robin and work out what Sinister Plot it's hinting at. Works really well if you have about half a dozen people at table, and you can put all those clues together to come up with something really elaborate. Bonus points for concluding with "The only possible explanation, Robin!"
