Not sure how to feel quite yet, I typically enjoy female leads in rock/metal bands. I suppose time will tell with their new album coming later this year. Would you guys like to hear a new sound to accommodate her vocals or stay true to their roots?

Not really a big LP fan, but replacing a lead singer is probably the toughest get for a band. Imagine the guy trying to replace Freddie Mercury or Steve Perry. REO did it and kept on for decades. Genesis. Van Halen. Make good music and people will listen. :)

Your right, some bands like AC/DC got their best success with their 2nd singer others like Alice in Chains still put out new great music but kind of stuck to their older songs originally sung by their former singer. I hope LP finds their unique sound that compliments her vocals and the continue their success making great music.

I'm just so thrilled to see a thread that's not about masturbating. :)

I just found out she is a Christian Scientist. Don't know what her e meter reading is. :)

Christian Scientists are those people don’t go to doctors and rely on prayer for healing. Scientologists are the e-meter folks.
Interesting concept, I wonder if there might be a subliminal messages in some of the lyrics inspired by her beliefs.
