There's often a casual attitude by the implant industry towards women both in terms of advice and their product safety. A German company was found in 2021 to have been negligent in awarding a safety certificate to a type of implant linked to autoimmune diseases and that were more likely to rupture.
I only know one woman who has implants. So my sample size is limited.
She loves them. But they seem like a pain in the ass.
She can't lay down on her chest. They are prone to rupture. One did rupture and she had to have surgery again to fix it...which apparently is just as uncomfortable the 2nd time.
Again.... she is happy with them and accepts the tradeoffs for the way she looks. But for me (someone who doesn't have boobs and has no idea what daily life is like with natural boobs) it seems like more trouble than it's worth.
Of course some people love boats too. And they spend 10 hours cleaning and repairing their boat for every hour then spent on the water enjoying the boat. And they are as happy as can be. So whatever.... it none of my business. I am glad the boaters and breat implant havers are happy. Lord knows I have my own things I work hard to be able to enjoy where other people think I'm nuts.
