This will be of no importance to anyone, but me.

But please help me anyway?

I'm making soaps for use by men, and this line is new to me. The problem I'm having is naming them...I can't think of anything. Usually I name the soaps by their ingredients, but for some reason, that just isn't hitting me right. This particular one I am working on now is for glam, but probably won't be his exclusively....he simply inspired it.

This is all I've come up with...

Male Bar

Rugged

Any ideas? Also, does anything about the name of a soap sell you when you're deciding to buy it, or is it all about scent?
See, I need something more than scent to sell it, for online purposes....so, does the name appeal to you any?

Thanks!

how about Husky!!!!! sounds pretty good to me.......

lol, you guys are too cute!:) DCL, I don't hav any cool bottles for my soaps, nor do I have any Blockbuster deals...how about a complimentary keychain flashlight?:)
Who'd have thought men needed perks like this?:)

The soap base is avocado/cucumber and I am adding dried kelp to it. The scents are chamomile, eucalyptus, patchoulli and vanilla. (I use the vanilla to counteract a bit of the strength of the scent from the eucalyptus.)

I'm also making one that is just patchoulli and eucalyptus, as he requested. I don't have a name for either.

Thanks!
I like Lava soap. Pumice. Don't need no fucking avocado chamomile cucumber vanilla eucalyptus patchoulli.

I certainly don't want it to be frilly, as I'll be rubbing my balls all over it.

I mean, really.

TB4p

Eeek, SilverVeil, a soap named "Trail Blazer" makes me think it'll leave a contact rash wherever it touches skin!

I second that.

btw....I love your choice of scents. Imagining them together and the cucumber imagery....shivers....

Something tells me a line of naughty soaps is in order?;)

TB4P...lava and pumice are coarse and very strong...this is what you want to rub on your balls, versus a glycerin based, very mild soap with all natural ingredients that are therapeutic to skin? Hmmm...I mean, "really"...as you put it..:)

The ingredients listed are not frilly, they are herbs/spices and other botanicals...very simple, fresh and much better for your skin than Lava and pumice. My goodness, I can't even imagine pumice on ones genitals.

Thanks....

;)

Thanks....that so much of the fun for me, the actual blending and experimenting. And the beauty is that if I don't like how it turns out, I can melt it down and start over.

There might be some copywrite concerns, but how about "Mr. Goodbar?"

When I see anything with eucalyptus in it, I can't help but think about the thousands of acres of eucalyptus groves in Brazil. There, they make paper from eucalyptus instead of pine. Maybe you could call it "Brazilian Forest" or "Green Sea." (Not to be confused with the term, "Sea of Green" which the basement pot growning crowd will recognize.)

Along those lines, maybe "Rainforest" or "Amazon Dawn"..... hell, can you tell I just got back from a week in Brazil?

What about outdoor type names ?

Mountain Peak

Trail Blazer

something like that ?

Or go with the element type maybe ...

Fire

Rain

Wind

Sun

Earth

Sky

For men I would stay away from foo foo names. Men seem to like one or two word product names. At least most of the ad's I see for mens products are simple and straight forward.

I just got a book on soap making. Maybe we could trade recipies ?

Fire would just have to include a large quantity of chiles (or capsacin) Perfect or TB4P- :D

I must be really thick, because I'm just not getting much of the innuendo here...what the heck does "drop me" have to do with glam? (Though it is a catchy little name.)

Texan, thank you very much. I like the "Green Sea" and "Rainforest" names, and any that have to do with water...but I especially like the "Amazon Dawn" name...wow!
Thanks!

Carp...you are sooo bad...that Capsaicin would render him wishing to die!:D

Along the lines of a naughty soaps line...

Women, for when you have that "not so fresh feeling"....dildo soap.:D

okok. I've been thinking way too much.

You men don't want my "Macho Oatmeal Ambrosia Spice Extrodainaire" Soap?

What is wrong with that?

My son uses the toddler version. It helps soothe his sore ass.
