This looks like fun!

As a practitioner of Chinese martial arts, and a fan of both of their movies, all I have to say is that I wish it had been made in China, and had Donnie Yen as the villain.

No, I'm kidding ;)

I can't wait to see this movie. It should be a hell of a lot of fun from what I have seen in a trailer :D

Definitely one I want to see... but jesus christ Chan's wig sucks!!!

Now what I wanna see is one with -
Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat, AND Jackie Chan in it.....

House of the Flying Daggers was just incredible as was Hero - and Bullet Proof Monk....

One of most favorite of all time quotes is from Bullet Proof Monk-

Its not about Anger its about Peace
Its not about Power its about Grace
Its not about knowing the Enemy
Its about Knowing Who you Are.

I used to believe in all these kung fu stuff . . . then saw UFC.
None of what jackie chan or Jet Li would be ogf any use in real fights.

That's not entirely true. Mostly, but not entirely.

UFC fighters are some of the toughest S.O.B.s on the planet. They also have rules that movie fights would break, like no hitting the crotch, the back of the head, arm breaks, and so on. Bare knuckles hurt a lot more than gloved knuckles, even with how little padding there is in an MMA glove. One on one fights are also very different from one on five fights, where moving around, tactics, and grappling can play varying roles depending on the skill levels of your opponents.

There are also a lot of weapons used in Chan movies. He uses anything and everything that he can get his hands on to hurt his adversaries.

Yes, these two are shown to be of superhuman toughness, and a lot of their moves are more acrobatic than practical, but there is still a good deal of actual useful moves in their movies.

Then you must have really loved "One" with Jet Li, I'm pretty sure anyway... Iron Shirt and Slow Fast high low technques were incredible (and no I am not a practicioner, just a fan :)) Paq Wa disciplines were shown that arent often seen. I really liked it alot! the movie eh so so but the fight scenes were great!

There are too many spellings of Paq Wa (I can only remember one other, ba gwa, but I have seen at least five, and they were all radically different). the other style used was Tsing Yi animal forms. Though I have to admid, I have forgotten which uses what...

Snd yes, the fights were fun, though my favorite part was the ending where he is fighting on the pyramid. There is just something surreal and fun about that :D
