The ignorant, incompetent, shit head in charge of the "emergency department" near us is a complete and total fuck up. The county has been flying flying helicopters for medical airlifts.

now I should make this plural has they crash TWO! fucking morons

Anyway, the county wasn't certified to bill and now they have to refund 3 fucking million dollars.

A slew of government slug employes have retired. okay that is a start but these fucking pieces of shit should be forced to pay the three million dollars and not the fucking tax payer, they also should forfeit all their pension and retirement bennies till they pay the three million dollars back.

Now, how the fuck can a government "enterprise" operate without the proper paperwork? Don't these assholes realize what paperwork is required? Who the fuck is suppose to watch over these assholes?

Lastly, how the fuck did it take three years before this was uncovered?

This is just another example as to why all "manager" level employees in government should be fired, and professional business minded skilled and qualified people take their place

This is why we need someone to start the change, to operate "Government" as a business

My coffee was bitter today and I think the milk has gone over.

I blame Obama.

My orgasm from masturbation wasn't as intense or toe-curling as it was two days ago doing the same thing.

I blame Obama.

yes, but you are one of the misfortunes. Clearly you must abstain from creating stains on the carpeting with your masturbation obsession

Well, the joke's on you, then. I have wood-surface flooring in my home, not carpeting.

Funny how the Jen dude always equates government with Democrats and ignores the fact that all governments in the US are comprised of Rs & Ds.

I blame Obama for Jen's stupidity.

We all know that you were a lifer, I get that. People like me scare the piss out of you. I get that.

So Shadup

why do you equate government only with Democrats?

I just equate Democrats supporting massive spending and spending money that they do not have. just like those in government.

Maybe its not the "worker" fault as there is no reward to be effective and efficient in government. the role is to justify your job, and figure out ways to make the budget larger so that one has a bigger kingdom

I just see "government" and "democrat" in negative cash consumption ways.

and I DO NOT see myself as a Republican. I'm pro business and common sense

pro choice
pro pot
anti religion

that disqualifies me

Wow.....as someone who was a Federal Employee for 23 years as a member of the military, I find this rather amusing. Such a blanket statement about over 2 million Federal employees is rather bold. Consider the following facts:

The number of federal employees per 1,000 people in 1962 was 13.3
The number of federal employees per 1,000 people in 2010 was 8.4
(source: http://voices.washingtonpost.com/federal-eye/2010/09/how_many_federal_workers_are_t.html)

Having never worked in a federal agency (I'm assuming here, but it's a safe bet), you make a pretty base judgement about the laziness and self-interest of federal employees. I'm not saying that there are no problems with government employees...I have seen many. But I've also worked with some very dedicated, passionate individuals who believed very deeply in the work they were doing and care about personal responsibility and work hard to change anything they can for the better. They are responsible stewards of the taxpayer money they are responsible for, as well. Of course, those people are NEVER going to get the press, because it's much easier to get people pissed off at the "excesses" of the government, than it is to expect anyone to show any level of appreciation.

One last note. Over the course of your life, how much federal assistance have you received? You are quick to complain, but I suspect you've benefitted more than you'd ever admit from federal programs. If you've never accepted a dime from any federal program (or state or local program that receives federal funds) the good on you, but I highly doubt it. How much money do you get back in the form of a tax refund each year? I bet you think it's an "entitlement"..and you bank on that refund every year, too. You're likely mid to low income and blame your position on anything and everything but your own lack of initiative.

I, myself, am also pro choice, pro legalized marijuana (although I haven't touched it in 24 years), and pro freedom of (and from) religion. I don't want the government in my bedroom. I'm willing to pay my fair share to support a government that protects my freedom to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Are there problems...of course, I'm not saying there arent....but are all federal employees like you portray them? No more so than every McDonald's worker is a meth-addicted moron, high-school dropout.

Of course, I'm sure you'll be able to give me many more examples to support your bias and stereotype....but will you tell us enough about you to allow us to judge your life against our biases?

It wasn't a lack of paperwork. It was a lack of proper equipment and training. Somebody was trying to cut corners, the same way that businesspeople love to do.

This is why we need someone to start the change, to operate "Government" as a business

What kind of business? Different businesses are run quite differently and have different incentives for doing things.

Is the Government a grocery store? A manufacturing plant? A cattle ranch?

Good point, Liar....having spent my entire adult life in government service, I can tell you that you can't run it as a business. Is there room for improvement, definitely, but the economics of private industry just don't work in government organizations.

It's not exactly the same thing, sure. But there are some businesses that are pretty apt metaphors for government IMO.

I think the best would be a landlord. The tenants rent space according to, more-or-less, ability. From big posh suites to crummy studios with a crappy view. But said rent goes mainly to finance common goods. The heating, the elevator, the hallway cleaning and so on. Maybe even security. You don't get extra hallway sweeps or extra rides on the elevator if you pay the higher rent. It's kept at good standard for everyone.

If the level of expected service costs more than the landlord gets in rent, he can lower the level of service or raise the rent.

Or he can take out a loan with the property as security. Businesses do this all the time. Could be for seasonal variations in cost and revenue or to ride out a recession.

Sounds pretty much like the financial reality of Government to me.

But that's who you voted for. And I'm willing to bet whoever dropped the ball on this, is exactly the person/people you voted for.

I see the clouds that move across the sky
I see the wind that moves the clouds away
It moves the clouds over by the building
I pick the building that I want to live in

I smell the pine trees and the peaches in the woods
I see the pinecones that fall by the highway
That's the highway that goes to the building
I pick the building that I want to live in

It's over there, it's over there
My building has every convenience
It's gonna make life easy for me
It's gonna be easy to get things done
I will relax along with my loved ones

Loved ones, loved ones visit the building,
take the highway, park and come up and see me
I'll be working, working but if you come visit
I'll put down what I'm doing, my friends are important

Don't you worry 'bout me
I wouldn't worry about me
Don't you worry 'bout me
Don't you worry 'bout me

I see the states, across this big nation
I see the laws made in Washington, D.C.
I think of the ones I consider my favorites
I think of the people that are working for me

Some civil servants are just like my loved ones
They work so hard and they try to be strong
I'm a lucky guy to live in my building
They own the buildings to help them along

It's over there, it's over there
My building has every convenience
It's gonna make life easy for me
It's gonna be easy to get things done
I will relax along with my loved ones

Loved ones, loved ones visit the building
Take the highway, park and come up and see me
I'll be working, working but if you come visit
I'll put down what I'm doing, my friends are important

I wouldn't worry 'bout
I wouldn't worry about me
Don't you worry 'bout me
Don't you worry 'bout ME...
