‘This Is the Way’: Watch As Fed Up Man Confronts Hamas Hostage Poster Thief As Only a New Yorker Can

By Sister Toldjah | 3:46 PM on October 27, 2023

As the old saying goes, not all heroes wear capes. In fact, sometimes they wear flannel shirts.

Such was the case during a recent incident in New York City, which like many Democrat-run cities in this country has seen the antisemitic nature of woke radical leftists get exposed like never before in the aftermath of the Hamas-instigated war against Israel, with chants of "glory to the murders," "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," and "Allahu Akbar!" filling the putrid air around the so-called peaceful protesters.

Something else disturbing that we've seen happen with increasing frequency are the despicable incidents where pro-Hamas thugs in these same cities start tearing down Hamas hostage posters, which are put up around cities in hopes that someone, somewhere can provide information to worried and anxious family members, friends, and other like-minded allies.

Thankfully, many of these jerks are being named and shamed, with some either being suspended from or losing their jobs. In other instances, we're seeing confrontations play out directly on the streets as the poster-snatching is in progress.

This is how to handle these Hamas-supporting thugs who hate free speech.

I support freedom of consequences for those removing the posters...they deserve to be smacked upside the head.

I always laugh at the way so many of you fall for, and use, "anti-Semitic."

You know Arabs are Semitic too, right?

Jews are only about 3% of the Semites in the world.
“Antisemitic” was coined as a word in the 19th century to make discrimination against the Jews sound rational and scientific. It’s always meant hating Jews.

hunner bux sez the OP hasn't a clue as to what his thread title references.

Agreed. Zero clue.

As I said a few days ago, our Lit Deplorables are still living in the world of Petticoat Junction and Hee Haw.

The Jeffersons is "that newer show with the colored people".

Except "Semitic" and "Jew" are not the same thing. But don't let actual word meanings get in your way!

Yanno... since Jews are a fraction over 3% of Semites... it makes more sense (almost 97% more sense!) to call those of you who don't "support" Hamas anti-Semitic.

In the states the word is almost always used about Jews.

I'm not going to help you any more today, and maybe not tomorrow. It'll stick better if you figure out something (anything!) on your own.
Thanks for the advanced notice of your actions. It's extremely important to publicly announce what you will be doing so that people know ahead of time.

I care. 👍

The term didn't originate with me. Iranians aren't Semites ether.

Stupid argument about the semantics of semitics.

Yes, technically the term "Semitic" originally applied to all peoples of the Middle East, who, prior to 622 AD, shared a common religion rooted in judaism (as Christianity and Islam both were.)

However, the term ANTI-semitic has evolved to where it has become strictly applied only to those of Jewish ancestry. Due, in part, to the persecution of Jewish people that culminated in a horrific event in the mid-20th century (an event which is either denied, or tacitly SUPPORTED, by certain users of this forum. Including the O.P and Kinked a bit)

Really? You have a cite for that?

OTOH, I distinctly remember a post where you support those who advocate for the extermination of the Jews.

There's a dive bar near me that opens at 8am but the guy who cleans in the morning at 6am will serve you. The same group of 5-6 alkies sit at the bar and watch The Rifleman, MASH, and Bonanza every damn morning.

They are the Gun thread crew IRL.

How many “correspondents” at red state? You have found two on the same day by the same person.

“Nice” (terrible) wide research you do there.

In the 19th century European bigots tried to justify their hatred for Jews by claiming that what they really hated was anybody from the middle east. But the only people they ever applied the word to was the Jews so it stuck as the term for Jew-hating.

It’s like how the term “Americans” is only ever used to refer to people from the United States, when technically Brazilians and Canadians are “Americans” too.

The US equivalent of that was "Northeastern". Nowadays it's not uncommon for people from the Midwest to whine about how "people from the East Coast are [a long list of negative stereotypes can go here]," but back when that got its start, they were talking about Jews.
