This thing is bigger than Florida, or maybe as big as the whole southeast U.S., and it's slowing down in how fast it gets on land and gone.

West? That's where it's heading now, or soon, as of this A.M.

And rubbers. Hip waders may not be enough, it's slow mo so slow it's gonna drench most of Fla.

Sher is probably in the best spot in Fla, save for those in the Keys. The rest, get the rafts out.

Yep! Was a thirty + mile backup on one of the major roads late yesterday, several crazies making their presence known, and poor Sher, if I read her right, west for her is the gulf.

Sher and the Keys may be the best off of Floridians. Just glad it isn't headed to Charley's first port of call. Can't get over the enormity of that monster, and it's forward speed is slowing, which means more water dumped. Ugh!

It's called COLD. Blackhole cold. It's never reported because even electronics stop working.

I didn't see anyone mention this. Sher, fill up your bathtub(s) with water. boiled it can be used in an emergency for drinking. But what makes it really useful is a small bucket to refill the reservoir in the toilet so you can flush if you lose city water (if you have it) or electricity, if you have a well.
