It's November, and it's still 85 degrees here. A cold front is supposed to come in this weekend, and cool us down to a nippy 78 degrees. This is just wrong. I'm in shorts and a T shirt. I have cute sweaters I want to wear, damnit!

Ok, what is wrong about it.... is that you have it, and I DON'T!!!!

-sneef- Although, it IS unchar... umm... damn, can't spell that word. It is unusally warm here, too. Not that warm, but in the mid to high 60's.

Gilly we ususlay don't get a good snowing around here till say late Jan early feb.... so it should still be warm :D I don't wanna brake out the heavey coats yet hehe.

You can come up here where it is cold and rainy - and will be for the next six months!

I've never been to the Northwest, STG, though I've always wanted to. I actually like rainy weather - I adore London. My ideal weather spot is D.C. - four distinct seasons. Sigh...

Uhhh....there are Seasons? I know of 2, up here in Canada.

1) Cold - Snow, beautiful white powdery snow, lying on the ground, making everything look like a christmas card.
2) Too bloody hot.

It is a nice place to live, but after almost 50 years of dealing with the rain it gets old. I really want to go south this time of year. It is fairly nice out today - Lost Cause even rode his Harley to work today (I heard him roar off about 10 minutes ago).

I don't like the DC area in the hot summer - too humid. I spent some months in Virginia when in the CG, and the humidity matched the temps; 95 degress, 95 percent humidity. Spring and autumn would be nice though.

I like occasional trips to cold spots during the winter if there is snow, but there rarely is down on the Puget Sound here. So it is just cold, rainy, grey and dreary most of the time - if you want snow you have to go up into the mountains - although they are just an hour away. Overall it is nice, but I really only want to be here in the summer.

it's been nice here today.. on the coast of Washington

beautiful fall day.. not a drop of rain today.. kinda chilly.. about 60 degrees or so...I like this kind of weather. I don't mind rain, just not ALL THE DAMN TIME! :)

We are very lucky in the years when we don't have to go trick or treating in the snow. My oldest, Raegan, was born at the end of April, we brought her home on May first. It was snowing still.

We always have a white christmas, and even on the off chance that we don't, it's so bloody cold people are wishing for the snow, as opposed to the bitter cold wind. Mostly, we get what is called Lake Effect snow.

Goes hand in hand with living in a state surrounded by water.

the other two seasons

STG...
Here we have two other seasons:
1. Winter-little "pretty snow" lots of dirty, grey slush, usually found in the form of large frozen road hazards.
2. Orange Barell (Construction)-hot, humid, air pounding on your car as you wait in line for 45 minutes for the single open lane of the freeway to creep another 4 inches toward your home...5 miles away.
Count your blessings.

I guess I shouldn't mention the 73-degree day I had in southern California today or the warming trend coming this weekend.

I once lived in Washington D.C. There are distinct seasons there, that's true. Fortunately for me, I missed the Potomac winter. *brrr*

Brrr? I live here and I rarely break out my winter coat. Of course after two and a half years in N. Dakota (I've seen the wrong side of -100), very little impresses me as cold.

Also, I don't think "steambath" counts as a season. :p

I played basketball outside for three hours today and it wasn't even getting that cold....

Remind me never to visit North Dakota except during the summer. Is it true that North Dakota has two seasons: winter and July 4th? :D

Let's see...it was 86 degrees today.

This is the reason we Arizonans live here. sigh......I'm so happy

Never humid...it's hot and hotter. The coldest we get in deep
winter is oh.....about.....65.

I am smiling.
:)

I am going to rise above my weather problems, and count my blessings. I can handle the weather. Because I work at home. Every day. I don't have to put on pantyhose unless I want to give my husband (and partner) ideas. If he gets ideas, since we work at home, we can send the calls to voice mail and take a sex break.

I am so happy!

Take that my warm weather friends!

Ah ...Lady Kit......

But I... my lovely lady..get both. ('cept) R and I are not married. But......afternoon delight is the norm......sigh.
Hey girl (good to see you)
