I'm not positive this is based on an actual account, or not. But, my Mom seemed to think taht it was important enough to e-mail me. 2 men are going around to different places, asking people if they'd like to sample perfume. Now, according to the e-mail, this is NOT perfume. It's ETHER! Again, I'm not sure if it is true, but, I thought I'd warn everyone, just in case.

There is no basis for any of it.

Beyond the explanation there, what would "ether" do to anyone if it was sprayed at them? First of all it would revert to a gas before it ever got within reach of the person and secondly, there wouldn't be enough to incapacitate anyone. It takes several minutes of exposure to loose conciousness from ether. A whiff lasting less than a second it's going to do anything to anyone.

Well, I'm glad it was a hoax. As for the whiff, then, ya, it wouldn't do anything. But, say someone bought it. But, anyway. Since it's a hoax, then, no worries.
