Until now, I have been confident I would vote against The Big O in the November election. If it came to Obama or Donald Duck, I would confidently cast my ballot for Donald. Now, I'm not at all sure.

If this lunatic wins the Rep. nomination, do I vote against him or the idiot now in office. Santorum apparently wants to turn the US into some kind of theocracy, something like Plymouth Colony hundreds of years ago. This would be a terrible idea, but the alternative would be four more years of The Big O.

So, which one would I vote against: The lunatic Santorum or the idiot Obama? Maybe I would vote for a third party candidate, or vote the "None of the Above" option if it were possible.

I've been disappointed in Obama, but compared to any of the Republicans...no quandry. I still can't see how "smaller government" translates into the imposition of a particular morality. I thought the Bill of Rights was there to protect individuals from the tyranny of the majority.

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum says that “America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography” because the Obama administration favors “pornographers over children.”

In an undated statement on his official website, the former Pennsylvania senator promises that he will “vigorously” fight to make sure porn isn’t easily available in the U.S.

“Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships,” the statement says. “It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking.”

In the CA primary, which is open, I expect to vote for Romney, because I think he has the best chance of beating The Big O. The Dems are apparently urging people to vote for the lunatic who is the subject of this thread because they think he would be the easiest to beat in Nov.

If I do write in somebody, it would be Donald Duck, with Daisy for VP. Voting for Ron Paul might be seen as an actual vote, when I would want to vote for "None of the Above."

In fact, it it comes down to Obama vs Santorum, I would like to get a campaign started to write in Donald Duck as a protest against the lousy choices being foisted on the voters.

I'm going to look and see if he is running this year and write him in.

I posted awhile back that I swore that the republicans could have Reagan's skeleton running (instead of the other stiffs) and I would vote for it.

For me it would be a vote against Obama rather than for the republicans.

Now between Santorum's let's set the country back to Puritan status including witch hunts against pornography(and I am sure homosexuality at some point) and Romney's running his mouth about planned parenthood and other inanities, I can't see myself voting republican.

Sadly if the election were tomorrow I am not sure I would vote at all. I like to feel as if I have some confidence in who I vote for and it is not looking like its the case here.

It's not a quandary for me. I voted for Obama last time and will vote for him again. This is not to say I'm thrilled with the way things have gone so far, but I cannot vote for any of the Republicans. If Romney seemed like less of a ... robot? then perhaps. But he has no vision, no plan, nothing, and Santorum -- no way.
