This AV

There are some pretty amazing AVs on Lit, some inspire thought, some are tiny reflections of the inner person that owns them, some inspire sexual desire. Whatever the inspiration, I thought it would be nice to have a means to tell people how, and why you like their AV. I hope people will dig back in time and bring some great AVs of times past, as well as some of today's to light.




I will start here, using the format in which they were originally presented, the actual size, and actual AV, because well, that is just how I know and enjoy them.


This first one is mine, nothing special about it. What makes it special for me, is that a former Lister made it for me. To me, it is a high compliment when someone takes the time and effort to work a photo so that you will look your very best to the world, because they saw something in you.

This AV is owned by someone I have never talked to, but for some reason, I feel all is well with the world when I see her posting. I have no idea if the AV is actually avrgblkgrl, but it inspires comfort, and at the same time whimsey.

This AV of toylk tells me that beautiful people can treat everyone as if they matter, for this man certainly does. Definitely a prince among us.

This AV of OxfordDon I hope never changes. Each time I see it, and his posts, I know that there truly is wisdom and caring in the world.

This AV of fungatorgurl101 just oozes sexual desire, but doesn't begin to show the huge heart she has. The only thing I feel is missing from this AV is a flipflop and a Kindle.

This AV of ShyNaughtyGirl is one I know some with say "we knew you would include her", but those that know me know that I have have a short attention span and have to make lists everyday. I get distrac.......oh look at the bunny *points* Anyway, I have seen this AV for over a year and a half, and it still takes my breath away. Every time. It is beautiful, artistic, and the owner is simply beautiful.

Some AVS I like not because of"what they are" but "who"..

Take for instance. UlhBWett...
His is a Wang shot. . Now I like a good Wang just as much as the other person, but the real reason I like that av is because one of the nicest, sexiest people posts under it. When I see it, my heart warms.

Same for TL..I don't like all her AVS but they represent "her" and that's what makes them special.

I haven't seen any AV that just ran up and grabbed me, though. It's usually the people behind them that make a difference. ..is that too sappy?

This AV, always makes me think that this wonderful lady has the world by the tail. Rainshine is lucky indeed, she gets to see the world through the eyes of a child everyday, and I feel that she takes the song I Hope You Dance, literally, and for that I am very thankful for her.

I am honored to be on your list, thank you for the things you said.

Your av always brings a smile to my face simply because it means I'm seeing a part of my best friend.

But I do believe my favorite one is your current one, because I remember when you snapped that photo

It is the small things that make AVs special, it is always nice hearing what it is.

I've always liked Miles Long's AV. That's a great mouth, little did I know it was also the smartest mouth I'd come across on Lit, one of the funniest and one that gives great advice and is a steadfast friend.

I pretty much love every AV TongueLust has ever put up, and the same with Emerson40.

There's another one I like that's sexy and classy, but I can't think of her username only her AV. If it comes to me I'll post.

Thank you, it is generally the person behind the AV even though I may never converse with the person directly, it is enjoyable reading their posts and interactions.

AV's are fun to begin with. It's always a big guess whether to take someone's AV seriously (and, seriously for who? You or them?), jokingly (some, you can just tell) or what? Is it a statement of a sort? A description? Sometimes, when I log onto Lit, I just scroll around the site checking out AVs and usernames and try figuring all that out. ...No. Not really I don't do that... If I really did that, surely many of you would have received polite inquiries about AVs in your PMs by now. Yeah. From me.

It really wasn't my intention to start a popularity list, just a means to show and explain why we like a particular AV. So meow, just meow relax meow and have meow a good meow time.

I am more intrigued by AVs and usernames... To like one is easy, sure, many I love, but I can never be exactly for sure I love it, or why I like it... unless I know the person personally... or ask 'em about it. I may like an AV until I actually know the reasoning behind choosing it... maybe.

This AV by funluvinaj is just gorgeous. She has some very beautiful AVs in her library, and I suggest you keep an eye out as she changes them. It is always a pleasure to be visually stimulated by her photos, but even more so talking to her. If you get the honor, treat her with the respect she deserves.
